- Me| 1 replySo these clowns (-0941 "Arizona") call me today, as well as from their other number (-0937 "Fraternal Polic"). Go (bleep) yourself, FOP fakes! You're giving the pox a bad name!
- Lucy| 1 replyThese (fill in the blank) called on SUNDAY AT 5:30pm. As I don't know anyone in Phoenix - just disconnected the call - AGAIN. They call constantly...and as previously stated, my local FOP, and other legitimate ones, does not call for donations. May they rot you know where.

- Farsh SadCalled asked for $15 donation, I hope it's not one of those scenarios where they record you saying yes then later go on and say you agreed to buy something or pay for something. Tried calling back no answer, nothing. Boo!!

- Richard replies to Marlene"Mike Morrison" is a clever computer program, used by many corporalized AM / FM radio stations, for brief automated announcements or local weather forecasts. Only recently, have tele-scam scumbags begun using this program--which works in tandem with the standard VoiP internet phone number location disguise method, known as "spoofing". It might interest you to know THIS particular number is NOT sourced INSIDE the U.S. ( it's actual location is Mexico--imagine that!! ). And the caller ID name has changed from "Police Association" to "Vets First"; the scammers are targeting patriotic Americans. It's simply wise to let your answering voicemail service handle these calls; scammers tend to hang up ( avoid leaving evidence, which makes sense ). DO NOT ENGAGE IN SPEAKING WITH THESE SCAMMERS--THEY ARE TRYING TO RECORD YOU SAYING THE WORD "YES".
- Richard replies to MeWell today, they're now "Vets First" on Caller ID---and their actual location is Mexico. The "Mike Morrison" is a scripted run computer program; it's used by many "automated" AM / FM radio stations. The creepy thing about this "Mike Morrison" is the robo voice may be disguising a LIVE CALLER's voice!! I suspect the scammers have a three fold plan: They use a robo-dialer to gather list of residential numbers of people who answer their calls ( gathering "marks" aka potential scam victims ), use their system to solicit money and/or ask you simple questions--hoping to record YOU saying the word, "YES". It's very important you DO NOT SPEAK TO THESE SCAMMERS--LET YOUR PHONE'S ANSWERING / VOICEMAIL SERVICE HANDLE THESE CREEPS. And IF you use a personal voicemail call greeting---make sure you DO NOT RECORD SAYING THE WORD "YES" IN IT; in fact, it's wise to use the built in robo-sounding voicemail call greeting.
- Tom replies to ScottNEVER call back a tele-scammer. My neighbor did---and got a $730 tab for several ( I think 11 calls total ) long distance call charges......to Bangladesh!!! Evidently, these con artists are trying to get you to say the word "YES". Just let your answering machine handle these idiots.
- Richard replies to BillThe scammers are using a particular voice disguising computer program---you can't tell if the caller is male / female....or what particular accent their REAL voice features!! They are trying to record victims saying the word, "YES". NEVER ANSWER OR SPEAK TO THESE SCUMBAGS.
- Richard replies to fujicaThe Do Not Call Registry ONLY applies to calls ACTUALLY MADE FROM INSIDE THE UNITED STATES. Tele-scammers use internet technology to HIDE their actual number and call location; it's called "spoofing"---so "Mike Morrison" does NOT care if you report "him" to the FTC or FBI. In fact, "Mike Morrison" ( I suspect is a clever clue in the form of an anagram ) is a voice disguising computer program. Where do tele-scammer calls ACTUALLY come from? I've seen them call from Spain, India, Canada, Jamaica,....and even Cuba; THIS particular call appears to be coming from Mexico!!
- You replies to MeWell friend---now they're using "Vets First"---how disgusting is that? It'd be nice if the ANONYMOUS hacker group dealt some swift painful justice to these scumbags.
- Ricky replies to LucyCurrently, the con artists are rotting away in Mexico---NOT Arizona; they're "spoofing" their REAL caller number / location.
