Called. Left no message

Left a message saying they were from Breast Cancer Financial Assistance Fund asking to speak to the man of the house.  The lady had a very heavy Minnesota accident.

Called, asked for me by first name, disconnected. This is a phony charity for breast cancer. They have called before using other numbers, since I block ALL INCOMING CALLS unless I am familiar with the caller.

Called. The hung up when answering machine came on. Caller ID said BCFA

Stop calling my home. I will not fall for any scams BCFA or otherwise.

Called, did not leave message.  Caller ID said BCFA.

The caller left a message regarding debt.

Breast Cancer Foundation Fund- Received calls on 2 different lines today.  I called back and message said it was the Customer Service line and if you wanted to be removed from the call list, please press 1 now.  Then I hung up, called back fro the other phone line and did the same.  Also stated "please allow 30 days for your number to be removed".  What?  30 days to remove a number, yeah right!  I can do that in 2 seconds!

The 602 area code is Phoenix, Arizona,  Caller ID said BCFA.  I wasn't home when the phone rang, and would not have answered it if I had been.

Called and asked if Julie was here. I said, Julie who? And the woman just hung up. Tried reverse dialing and message said phone was disconnected.

Answering machine came on, left no message.

Same call came in today and asked for the lady of the house. I said she was out and would take a message. Breast Cancer Foundation wanting to send a donation kit package for a donation. I just hung up
period. With all the B.S. in politics they have the nerve Really. Exspecially with the insurances and all. Thats my thought so put that in your pipe and smoke it. It's time for America to wake up and smell the roses.

My answering machine picked up and I tried to catch the caller. When I spoke, they hung up. After replaying it later this evening I found it is a breast cancer fundraiser. I do not like people calling my home for donations. If I feel the need to donate, I will find a reputable charity to donate to of my choosing. I had our number put on the do not call registry for a reason. I also had it put on the BCF call center do not call registry. I will give them 30 days marking my calendar and I sure hope they do not call my home again. I cannot stand people calling me begging for money when I have cancer and I cannot get any help or medical treatment. Go save the tatas on somebody elses dime.

Did not answer call, no message left by caller but caller id showed "BCFA". I called the number back from a blocked private line and it was answered with a prerecorded message stating "This is the Breast Cancer Foundation Fund and our call to day is related to our fundraising drive currently going on. I you would like your number removed from our calling list press #1, if you would like further assistance press #2............" at which point I hung up. Today was the 4th call in 7 days according to my caller id so I am posting info on all related sites and filing formal complaints at FTC.gov and FCC.gov.

602-753-9835  BCFA  -  I think this is a SCAM.  And YES  I do happen to have Breast Cancer, so I say that, with Caution.

But this BCFA that's now calling everyone, is calling from a Phoenix, AZ number, and NOT from Florida!  And their calls seem to have started about a month or so ago.  I have to say....I'm suspicious.   I see no Phx, AZ phone number listed anywhere on their website.  

Guess someone who is more curious than me, could call the Toll Free #'s above and ASK them if they for SURE have someone trying to get Donations for them, calling from Phoenic   602-753-9835.  

Hope this helps!  Please post the answer if you find out for SURE.   More & more posts without any further info. than "they called me too"  - aren't helpful.   Let's find out who these people REALLY are that are calling from this Phoenix number.

Call ID said BCFA. I didn't pick up.

They called at 9PM on a Friday night.   I saw the ID as BCFA and let the machine pick up.   They hung up.   It appeared to be a call from my 602 area code but numbers are often spoofed these days.

Definitely a scam.  Legitimate charities do not behave in this way.

Same old stuff.  Filed a complaint with the FCC for this number and for 602-753-9869.  They keep using different numbers so you can't really block the calls.  Tried complaining at DNC but that does nothing so I decided to try the FCC.  Nothing so far since the first FCC complaint on 2/7/14.  Probably not worth the time but at least I've tried.  I don't answer calls with Out of Area i.d.  They never leave a message so they keep calling and I don't answer.
