The fake news sites lead to Home Working Connection [homeworkingconnection] with the almost impossible to read text hidden at the bottom: homeworkingconnection.com/?publisher=MUNDO&sub_id=CD3195

Filling in (fake) contact info took me to the payment page and contained in the text there is a phone number: (0800) 098-8507 in one version and also (0808) 234-3438 and (0808) 234-9862 in other versions.

A Google search shows that this number belongs to genesisonlineconsulting.com and a reverse ip on that brings up:

Even in Canada, it calls me multiple times a day. Very annoying...

I have received a number of calls from number +6027725030 and when I answer there was quiet on the other side,no message left.

i clicked on that fb link too...was curious what can i say?lol....i soon realized it was a scam and didnt provide any more info...they called me 4 times in 3 hours!

I receive 2 calls from that # as well , no message was left. If they call back I'm ready for them.

I have this number calling also.  4x a day.  I knew it was a telemarketer of some sort so I don't answer it.  Now I know forsure.  Thanks a bunch

I am from Quebec, Canada.  A call from 602-772-5030 is made at my home many times a week.  I do not answer this call because i have seen on the web that is a marketing call and I don't want to answer.  I don't know how to stop those people to call at my home so often!  Someone can stop them?  What can i do?

This number calls my cell 2 & 3 times a day, I'm not from the States even, but they have gotten my # somehow... any Ideas on how to stop it?

I have been getting a call from 1-602-772-5030 since the end of November on my cell phone when I finally called it back it said hold for customer service.  I have no idea what the name of the company is but I wish they would stop annoying me.  It calls sometimes 2 or 3 times a day and if you don't answer it calls back a few seconds later.  They never leave a message, how do I block this number and can I block numbers on my cell phone??

I received a call from +16027725030 the day after checking out an ad on facebook about part time employment to do with data entry and things of the sort. Being good at that type of thing I tried to sign up for it, which involved entering my phone number, only to find out it had a monthly cost, and wasn't really employment at all. I assumed it would be safe considering facebook was advertising it, but I guess I was wrong. Many of the websites referred by Stephen Jones' post look very similar to that on which I attempted to sign up for employment on, which leads me to believe that this is indeed the reason I got the call.

I received this call & I'm all the way in Singapore! Due to time difference I was sleeping when I received this call. Thank God I didn't make the call & google the number before I called back..

I missed the call so googled the number before phoning back as it seemed unusual. Glad I did now.

On the HTC phones there is an option for you to block a caller.  You add to contacts then add to your block list.  They will never be able to get through again.   I'm sure other brands must have a similar function.   Failing that you could report it to your mobile phone provider and ask them if they can block it for you.
