My caller ID showed "Native American" for Feb 7, 2013

An earlier message showed the caller company as AT&T.  That was wrong as I entered "AT&T" in error

in OH here. answered this call.... stated back taxes were owed.  I just got this phone...thought call may be for person who had # before me.

I received a call from 602-845-8196. They did mit leave a msg, so i called it and it was some scare u scam about senior loved ones and them getting emergency help fast enough. SCAM ALERT!!!!!

Autodial recorded message on my personal cell phone regarding a security device for seniors. These scammers need to be stopped.

MEDICAL ALERT COMPANY - My number is unlisted...tried to speak to someone to have them remove my number from their list....but couldn't get through to anyone.

Also, this is a spoofed number.

Anyone who calls from a spoofed number is a scam.

What about the person that legitly owns the number-are their calls a scam too?

Here is what the recording says when you call it...  "Thank you for calling customer service, please enter your phone number to be removed from our call list...."

Have you ever heard a legitimate customer service not identify who they are other than "customer service"?  And have you ever heard a legitimate customer service department immediately tell callers how they can remove their phone number from their call list?  Why?  Obviously, they know people are getting a lot of unwanted scam calls from them, and so they know people are going to be calling back telling them to stop calling them.

Scam, scam, scam!

Don't fall for it, people.  If everyone would stop voluntarily giving these scammers money, we could put them out of business.

Just keep spreading the word about these scammers.  Get their information out there so no one ever gives them any money and someday, they will go out of business and then have to get a real job.

So, it looks like the scammers are monitoring this thread and starting to respond to my comments.

Don't fall for this scam.  Don't give them any money.  The I.R.S. will not call you.
