That number calls me on Saturdays. When I try to call it back, it won't connect. Thank you for your information about this being yet another scam.

Sounds like the 888-888-8888 scammers from India.  NEVER give them access to your computer.  "Jack Dawson" will demand a credit card payment to "fix" the problems they find, and if you don't give him credit card info he'll download everything he wants from your hard drive and leave YOU with a non- working computer.

Called, knew my last name. Said he was calling about my Windows computer. I told him I didn't have a Windows computer, and please don't call this number again. He them promptly hung up.

Yes my favorite  phone scammers called! I haven't spoken with them in a few months so I really missed them. Well they called me AT WORK this time and pulled the "your computer has virus" spiel blah blah blah. I really didn't have time to play around with them like I normally would so I let him waste a few minutes before I asked him which country he was calling from. He said he was calling from "3rd street in New York". I asked him what the zip code was and he seemed confused and then said "55011". Well being that I'm from Minnesota I know that's a Minnesota zip code. I told him that wasn't a New York zip code and he promptly hung up. I wish they'd call me at home, I get great joy wasting these scammers times.

602-907-2109 just called with foreign accent saying there is a problem with my compute that connects to the internet, any computer....about windows....I don't have windows.....so...he asked what kind of computer...I didn't tell him and just said I do not have windows on any computer and that I thought he was a scam and that I didn't want to talk to him...he begged, "please, please, do not hang up...."  CLICK.... that was enough of him.  I will block that number....

Received a call in broken English saying "Windows" was going to terminate my Internet connection because they are receiving notices that my computer is sending viruses and illegal software.  I asked him to call my business number and gave him the number for the New York Attorney General.

Same happened to me today. If you don't give them any personal info will they be able to hack you or cause any other harm to your computer? I was creeped out that he knew my name.
