when you answer a lady who sounds like a older women says the first name but doesn't say anything else as she is waiting for a response very suspicious for sure

it is supposedly the united breast cancer foundation (out of NY) but a local number is suspcious

I received a call from this number this evening, they did not leave a message and I never pick up calls unless they leave a message first.

Many calls and never leave messages. I answered the call tonight and it is another call from the breast cancer foundation from a different number. It is a robo call. Due to this sleazy marketing practice, NO MORE DONATIONS FROM ME!!!!

Same as above--- daily calls from different numbers and cities and never a message-- my thinking is if it's not worth leaving a message don't bother calling

Same as others have said...  Usually the calls come thru as United Breast Cancer, but today it came thru as CCI.  The first time they called (months ago) I answered because they're calling my work phone.  The seemingly nice woman started by saying that I'm "so hard to get a hold of" (really? I'm at my desk most of the day, smh) and then went into the rest of the rehearsed speech.  I cut her off and politely requested that she have the number removed from the call list because it's a work phone.  She said she would take care of it.  Obviously, she didn't and they continue to call.  I just ignore the calls now, since I don't have a way to block them at work.

Called while I was out, so thank you “Fed up” and “ShadyRebel” for letting me know who called. I have now added 603-513-2451 to my call blocker along with the previously added numbers 603-318-2903, 603-513-2438, and 302-268-9609.  They are all numbers for calls relating to breast cancer, or at least purporting to be related to breast cancer.   Now that I finally have a call blocker that suppresses even the first ring, they will not be bothering me again.

Caller ID showed:  CCI.   Don't know who it was.  My landline is protected by a call blocker unit. They didn't follow the instructions from my call blocker so it blocked the call automatically.

The only way I use my landline now is to wait for the caller to begin leaving a message. If it’s someone I know, I pick up. Otherwise I let them speak to my answering machine but most often they hang up. It’s rare that I receive a  scam call on my cell phone.
