theyve called my phone multiple times and again today. I answered today and there was silence on the other end. when I said hello, I began to hear a tone as if a phone ringing (directly through my phone, not some background noise heard on the other end). I decided to hang up before it went through, assuming this must be some kind of telemarketer dialer. they do not generally leave a voice message, though when they do it's just short silence. About half an hour later I got a call from another number in my own area code, which hung up as I answered - googling this other number, it comes up as as scam caller. I believe the two are related, and the secondary number hung up because I took too long to say "hello", causing their dialer to drop the line and move onto the next call.

tl;dr - I have no idea who this number is or what they want, but I'm lead to believe it's scam/spam.
