its SQM marketing group for customer satisfaction surveys. This particular call was because we just called BC Hydro to make service changes.

Dec 17 10:25 am.  BC Hydro on tv call display. Answered but no one there. Tried calling it. Got voice mail saying press 1 for English etc. Hung up.

This Phone Number belongs to a Scammer that somehow has access to BC Hydro's recent phone caller list. This Scammer has been BLOCKED. : )

The above claim is 100% false.
When I called the number, it was "SQM GROUP" (www.SQMgroup.com), an organization that claims to do "Customer Satisfaction Research" for many companies.
Last week, I did contact BC Hydro to resolve a billing issue -- wanting to enroll in the "MyHydro" online program, since Canada Post employees are locked-out (or on strike), and I wanted to get electronic access to my bi-monthly invoices.
So, the real BC Hydro has hired SQM to do a "Customer Satisfaction" survey.
There is nothing "sinister" about this.

Interesting. Recently called BC Hydro, similarly to other people's experiences. My phone did label it as possible scam and they did not leave a message.

This number called me, I did not answer. I called back and it didn't go through, as in it never rang.

Got a call from this number asking me to do a survey about my recent call to BC Hydro. After about a minute and a half they disconnected. I had the day before got a phishing attempt email re a Hydro contest, which was the reason for the original call.
