Got a text from this number saying "INTERAC e-Transfer: Remember to deposit your money by June 22,2023.  See https//et.interac.hk/deposit/CAgdV2qz  Data rates may apply".  I have made no arrangement for an e-transfer so did not click on the link.  Must be someone trying to get at my banking info.

Also got an INTERAC text from this number. I do not and have never used INTERAC. Scam.

Same as described above. Interac scam to get your bank account login.

Also received a text from this number saying remember to deposit e transfer before June 29, 2023. I have no etransfers waiting to be deposited.

Received scam text about depositing an etransfer. On a Sunday morning before 8am (just after 7am..if they really are in BC, that’s 4am for them)  I kno it’s a scam cuz I have auto deposit and it’s an actual phone number instead of just 5 numbers.

I recieved this message June 24th but just got this phone number 4 weeks ago and have never gotten an e transfer before and few people have this number of mine. I clicked the link because my phone is encrypted and not attached to any bank and it looked like a legit e transfer of about 24$ from a secure website but since I don't do online banking I didn't attempt to except it. The text was sent at 5:15 am on Sunday morning and I live in Surrey BC. I called the number that sent it and it and went to an automated voicemail.

Definitely a SCAMM.  DO NOT REPLY. Delete the message immediately

So do not fall for this SCAM

same as above , July 2 text message. Don't do e-business!

I replied back in a message only that they could F.O.A.D.
I don't bank on my phone and I just deleted and blocked the number.

Same text message as all others. July 4th, 5:30pm BC time - from 604-616-3236.

Same message. Scam may be to get you to call the number and it will go to a foreign country and your phone provider will get a charge of several dollars which will turn up on your next phone bill. Could be about $5.00 just to hear a message.

I also got that same text 2 days ago.  A scam for sure.

I did click the link. It read it was for the Grocery Rebate. $234.00 than had another link which I did not click. (Curious not clueless) it was for et.Interac.hk.

Which I found interesting as I am still waiting for an assessment from CRA.

I have auto-deposit as well.
