This number is a scam number to try and get you to give them your information and then open credit under your name and social number. Beware!!!!!! Now they are sending out credit refusal letters saying you tried to get a credit card and when you call to say you didn't apply for the card they ask for your info so that they "can file a fraud report for you! Don't do it.

I see. You "had to call to verify credit" (meaning you already know who the number belongs to) then decided to tell everyone you had done so and came to a phone number look-up site. Not sure why you felt the need to do so but hey - everyone does odd things sometimes.

Trying to open a credit card with ll bean, was told to call this number to complete application, I called there, bogus they took my ssn, hung up.  I called them from a process initiiated at ll bean.

Got denial letter. I didn't apply for anything. It said office depot. When I called it sounded legit, asking to pick number to check account. I hung up when they asked for my SS #. Beware. SCAM

I just got one of these scam letter saying it was from Tractor Supply trying to get my info! Don’t call the number listed on the mailing!!!

The letter appears to quite legitimate. I had not applied for a Wayfair card, but was concerned about a hard inquiry. I checked my credit report for inquiries and nothing appeared for this transaction. I called the number as well and when they asked for my full SS # I knew it was a scam site. I'm very diligent on trying to protect my family's credit and this one nearly fooled me.

Received letter dated June 22 2023 saying Wayfair Mastercard denied application, called number and entered reference number.  Their system asked me to enter SS#number and I hung up.  SCAM

I rec’d the “Wayfair Mastercard” credit card denial letter.  I did not apply for credit at anyplace called Wayfair and I checked all three credit bureau information.  There was nothing on any of them regarding any inquiry from Wayfair.  I did call the number but was not willing to put my Social Security number in.  I believe this is a scam!! Avoid like the plague!!

Received two credit denial letters today.  I did not apply for either.  Because I had encountered this over and over a couple of years ago, I have a freeze on all three major credit reporting agencies.  And I thought the letters were for real.  Called one and got an automated system with no choice to speak to a person. And yes, it asked for my SS #.

Received letter from Goodyear Credit Plan sent to my parents address denying credit application. Doing a phone lookup finds this site site. I've apparently received a few other similar letters and I'm going to call the credit agencies to freeze all activity for potential fraud alert. I did notice 2 hard inquiries on my credit reports and I haven't applied for anything. Assuming the letter and phone number are tied to the fraud attempts.
