Didnt answer phone; caller didnt leave a msg. Assume a telemarker

Called at 8:30am. Said hello when I said hello repeated everyword I asked. Upset, interrupted things I was doing. 8:30am deliberate call to upset.

if you are annoyed with all these numerous calls about nothing or so called charity request and scam calls from other country call banks to rip you off, well, maybe we as members of society should become annoying callers ourselves,  dedicate yourself to make a list of all calls like this one and call them each day leave a message or talk to a person or press their number to get off the calling list,   this will tie up their system or phone that they can not call others,   soon they will all get the message,   good luck and leave messages on these number sites to encourage each other,  we will boycott in our own way and these calls will become less and less in our lives.   YES..................i

Yeah, Called about 9:50 this morning. No Caller-ID, except for the  number, no message. Recited my mantra to myself: "If it's important, they can leave a message."  So glad I have this rule. I simply don't answer calls I don't recognize.

Got a call from this number.  Caller id showed "I" for the name.  Caller (woman's voice) left message and asked for us by name maybe thinking we would pick up the phone.  Need to change to generic answering message.  
Maybe we should all discontinue phone service and pay everything in cash and get off the internet.  The scam artists are getting prolific.

Called at 809PM tonight.  Recorded female voice said she was calling for breast cancer research.  The recording asked for a donation and I said NO.  The NO tripped a second recording, this time asking for $25 or $15.  "Which can we count on you for?" The recording asked.  I said NONE and that triggered a third recorded message about how maybe i could donate at a later date and then said goodbye. A tricky pitch designed to make the call recipient think it is a live person, but it's a series of recordings triggered by the answer it hears.  The next time it calls, when it asks if they can count on me for a donation, I am going to say "watermelon."  We will see if that confuses their machine.
