Called my cell phone, no message. Don't know the number and I did not solicite for any Information.

This number called my Phone while at work. The number doesn't lead anywhere. Pretty sure this is one of the scams going on. Don't try and call it back like I said it doesn't lead anywhere. Be careful with this and I don't recommend answering the calls either.

got a 9:37 am call they hung up when I answered.dont know anyone or have any ny contacts. clled my cell pone

They called my cell phone at 11.20am. I picked up and kept saying hello, but there was just silence on the other end, so I hung up.

Received a missed call on my cell from this number. They didn't leave a message. When I looked up their number...it doesn't exist.

Called my cell. No message.

"Shawn" with some roboblurb about "several top rated insurance companies".  That's as far as it got before I hung up and blocked the caller.  Telemarketer.  If you are on the "Do not call" list, file a complaint.

Received a call from  (607) 203-5554. The man identified himself by only a first name, but by the way he spoke it sounded like a computer-generated voice.
He informed me that he was selling life insurance.
  I told him I have nobody to leave it to.
He said he just wanted to see if I qualified.
  I asked him why I would want to qualify for something I did not want.
He hung up.
I called back and discovered that the number is invalid.

Someone called from this  when  I answered ,they hung up tried to call bac and it's a non working number.

This number just called my cell and hung up. Please find out who it is and charge them with scam calling

Got a call on my mobile phone from this phone number a few minutes ago. I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer it. After four rings they hung up. I just figured it's one of those scams going on.

They called twice said nothing

called my cell - did not answer - did not leave message - I was curious and called right back - NUMBER NOT IN SERVICE!
I guess NSA not spying on scammers!

Called automated computer and they call every day

Calls are haressment - Contact the FTC (Federal Trade Commission)http://www.ftc.gov/  ... https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#&panel1-1 and the CFPB (Consumer Financial protection bureau http://www.consumerfinance.gov/ ... http://www.consumerfinance.gov/complaint/... Also check with your state's DOJ - department of Justice and file a local police report. You can also add in contacting a lawyer for a Class Action Suit. Fraud and haressment is not ok. You can sue them for these calls

Yes likely its a scam.
The first call is a "recon" call for the same or another number.  
To see that your number exists and what time you picked it up,
so they can call back later at the same time.
Also could be a call to see if your home and if not, to break in,
but thats just a local feel.  Just throwing the idea out there.
One way is to next time you sign up for something "Free" put that
number in as yours and sit back and .. darn..
Does remind one to remind your kids and friends and family to watch
who you and where you give out your/their phone number too, such as facebook
and like social places. Some are used to harvest numbers..
I got another number scammer today, odd thing is I was reminded to
enter a recovery cell number in case of my facebook and losing
my password, last night when I signed on.. Coincidence or ..
