Caller ID said A.V.F.  607-203 -5573......no message left.  Received this call at 10:53 a.m. on a SUNDAY!!!!!

Maybe it was from a Seventh-Day ADVENTIST!!!!!!

Pain in the neck call with ID of A.V.F. in Binghamton NY  This is no doubt a scam.  These unanswered calls do nothing but botch up the answering machine.  Tell these ????? to go pester the OLD COOTS who have nothing to do but answer the phone.

Why don't scammers/spammers go out and find a 'real job"? Life today is bad enough without some pests bothering us by phone. The calls were missing during the last few days just before election but they are starting up again.

Just got this call on a SUNDAY at 10:43AM.  Caller ID said "A.F.P.O."  Since this DOES NOT MATCH what OTHER people have experienced, ("A.V.F.) I would SERIOUSLY DOUBT that this is a legitimate 'charity.'  LIKELY A SCAM.  REAL organizations don't change their Caller ID on a daily basis!  We let it go to the machine; four rings and then disconnect.  Our machine picks up at five!

Likely YET ANOTHER of the REYNOLDS FAMILY SCAM 'charities' which are ENRICHING the REYNOLDS FAMILY of Texas - and NOT the veterans they are PRETENDING to support.

Just did a little more sluthing; found out this is 'not a valid number.'  So, obviously SPOOFED, a SURE SIGN its SPAM.

There is NO SUCH LEGITIMATE REGISTERED CHARITY by these Initials or name.  TOTAL SCAM.

If you 'donate' to them you are ENRICHING the CALLER/CALL CENTER company and NOT ANY real charity.  AND you will be put on a TARGET LIST of other SCAMS for FURTHER HARASSMENT by these callers.

Got a call on my cell today (Sunday) 3:10 pm

I got the call this morning (Sunday) at 10:00am  CallerID said A.F.P.O.

If you notice, ALL calls from this number have been on SUNDAYS.  Likely someone who is MOONLIGHTING as a scammer!

Caller ID said A.F.P.O.  Didn't answer.  Sunday, 1148.  I could imagine that families with military members overseas could jump at the call, thinking it a Christmas call from an APO or FPO area.  Absolutely despicable.

This old coot doesn't want to answer their calls, either.  Just got a call from this number, but no one on the line.

Whenever there is no name, (or my name and number spoofed as the caller) I normally just don't answer.
Received this call Sunday 15:29 EST, and I decided to answer.
There was a click, then an electronic sounding voice said, "hello, this is Joe, how are you today?"
That's when I hung up.

I received 3 calls today,  1 that came up as A.F.P.O.   607-203-5573 and 2 from the # 518-649-9923 all on sunday 12/14/14  4:18 pm & 4:25 pm ET.
