607 is New York...my phone said "Owego" so I looked it up on google.  Owego is Tioga County in New York.  Population 19,883.  Do you think this telemarketer is so poor he can't get a better job than harassing people by phone by way of a robot call?

East Indian male calling to say my Microsoft software has stopped running. I called it a scam and he disconnected.

Owego, NY? Didn't leave a voicemail, but based on messages from others here, looks definitely scammy.

Have had many calls from this number. I Did not answer.

This is a very dangerous number.! Someone should report it to the fbi! It registered on my phone "owego" but is a dangerous computer interference number.  607-223-5233

Why dangerous? Pretty hard to be dangerous if there's no kind of answer when they call. No chance having to pay if you never play.

Just received this call.
Second call in 3 days from a "Microsoft Windows representative".
He wanted access to my computer. This is a dangerous number. If anyone gives access you open your life to scams, fraud, and identity theft.
Microsoft will not reach out to you by phone without prior contact with you (i.e. Previous computer customer service issues).

Well, yeah, that's no new news here, however, none of that is possible without any kind of answer from you. Unless a scammer has a potential victim, not much is more helpless.

Calls originate in India and Pakistan.  They spoof local numbers.  Invest in a call blocker and do not pick up on call numbers you do ot recognize.

I answered. The connection was very bad. Though listed as being in Oswego, NY, that number was obviously "borrowed." The woman on the other end had a very thick Chinese accent and wanted to repair my computer. I told her her eyes are browner than ..... and hung up.

Waste of time. I should've broken out in Mandarin. 😂

607-223-5233 (Owego, NY) called me twice today 7/25/16; static in the background; "foreign sounding" guy telling me he's calling to help fix my computer problem.  Little does he know, I don't have a computer (other than at work).  Total scam.

This number has called me a few times.  They never leave a message.  Today I picked up the phone and a male with a strong accent mentioned something about a computer.  I hung up!  Annoying!!!

Hit me today with a quick single ring...  Then a call back...  Ignored both.

Just received a call.  Asked if I was aware that my Microsoft Windows wasn't responding properly.  So I played along and said, Yes, I have a technician working on it right now."  She asked if my computer was on.  I said, "Yes, it's running, the technician is fixing the issue as we speak."  She asked if I was in front of my computer.  I responded, "Yup, but the technician is fixing the problem right now."  She was absolutely doubtfounded as to what to say next.  LOL!  Sounded like someone was feeding her the lines.  What a bunch of idiots!!!  I should have asked her if she wanted my credit card number also.  LOL!
