To let all know, all the #’s below are associated with them.  Believe me, I probably am on their bad list after getting another call today.  These are all #’s I have, which have showed up on our caller id etc.  Have done a lot of research and reading other comments on them.  DON’T LET THEM GET TO YOU.

Thank you for the posting from "Tired of it" that it is from Progressive Business Pub.  I rceived a phone call for subscribing months ago.  I declined.  I started to get mail from them, but I might have opened one and thought of it as a sample from them.  Later, I am getting billed for the pub.  I never subscribed.  It is for Accounts Receivable Dept.  We don't have one, and why would I subscribe from a small bus. like mine where I am the only one to receive payment from my clients.  Obviously their clerk probably wanted to meet quota and submitted my name anyway.  Who can I call to file complaint about this claim:  The BBB?  We are all victims of this vicious bus. cirlce and their tactics of doing bad business.  Now the collections wants money for something I never ordered.

I tried their Admin Professional subscription but wasn't happy after the first issue hence returned cancellation notice on first invoice.  Never received another copy so thought, "yay, they canceled."  Now I get a call from this agency stating they are taking this to collections.  OK...so you want a copy of the invoice which I marked to cancel.  Have that so no worries but you want a copy of the envelope I sent it back in?  Seriously, who makes a copy of this?  Absolutely HORRIBLE.

International Credit Recovery (Kathy Rema- Credit Manager) contacted me via phone stating that I owed $195.50 on behalf of NDI Group, Inc. for Progressive Business Publications newsletters/magazines. She provided her phone # as (607) 748-4686. When I stated this was a fraudulent call she stated that I verbally ordered these in May 2011 for a free trial. I asked if she had a recorded message of me accepting a year subscription: She did not replying that they had my birth date & that was confirmation in lieu of signature for services. I denied it. She stated that if full payment wasn't provided via credit card over the phone or overnighted check payment received by Friday, Feb. 6th, NDI Group would be reported for corporate collection proceedings. I requested a fax stating the true nature of the invoice, explaining the charge for which Kathy stated she would send: No fax has been received. I became hostile during the call for which she attempted to hang up but, I pressured her to continue speaking to resolve. I researched the company on the internet only to discover that there are 4 years of fraud complaints listed for this company and some of which reference, Cathy/Kathy

I just received a call from this number --at 11:46PM PACIFIC TIME!!! It is almost midnight and they call. It went to voicemail. I now have a 4 minute voicemail of what sounds like a fax machine. Absolutely ridiculous.

Received a call from ICR stating I agreed to a 30 day trial (7months ago) for a Osha publication from Progressive Business Publications and  since I didn't cancel the 30 day trial I am being billed $399.  I told her I don't recall that phone conversation or ever getting a publication, she stated she had my DOB for verification, she faxed me a bill and wanted me to pay with my credit card to get this resolved ASAP. This Lindsey called me back the next day and said I need your payment, I said I spoke with my legal department and if ICR doesn't have a signed contract with my signature to stop calling.  She got irate and said I want your supervisors name, I replied with, you don't need that but you can talk with our legal department. She said I will call back and get it from someone else and hung up on me.  WHAT A SCAM

I also received a call from Cathy Rema today, June 6, 2017.  She claimed she was a Collection Agency calling on behalf of a publication " Keep up to date on payroll".  She claimed that I had approved the receipt of the newsletter on or about October 27th and that we had received 10 newsletters since that time and that we had been billed 5 times and that it is now in collections.  I told her that all of our phone calls were recorded and that I would not have authorized for a newsletter.  She became insistent that she needed to speak to someone who could make the payment, accused me of talking over her, and continued to try to bully me into a payment.  I told her that we were a small company and I would be the only one that would authorize and that I would not authorize a scam.  I told her that we had not received a newsletter and we had not received any invoice.  I told her that her whole call had the very essence of a scam.  She said she was going to turn it over to her legal department and that I would be hearing from them again.  I googled the phone number and see that I was correct in thinking it a scam.  Thanks for all the posts!!  Someone should stop this Cathy Rema!!
