I have been receiving these same calls with the same message. I called and the woman sounded like she had no clue what she was doing or talking about. When I told her to pursue legal action and hung up, she immediately called back asking was I sure that I didn't want to settle whatever the issue was with a payment. Never had a bill collector plead with me to pay them. Total scam!!!

Has called three times in the last week, about every other day. First a female, then male, then a male left a voice mail message. Callers claim I'm a defendant in a case and to call them for legal representation, without naming me, who they are or who the plaintiff is.

On my calls I received very similar words.

I wouldn't ever call a potential scammer back, because if you call them, they likely could see the name on their caller ID. Then they have both you're phone # and name. Consider they may be making profiles of people, connecting them possibly with the black web and credit card number hackers.

Received multiple calls from them and they called my mom told her it's a scam and to block their number

voicemails: “Well we're required to notify you that _⁠_ 72 hours prior to petitioning for an injunction you or your attorney have a very brief window to address this matter with my office directly or provide a final statement for the record in your defense we can be reached at phone number 607-821-7817 it would serve your best interest to contact my office by the close of business today or immediately upon your receipt of this message good luck…”

Yes,  I've gotten a couple of calls From this phone number from a man and a woman leaving this number as a call back. And they said the exact same thing  as mentioned above. If there is a place to report these numbers I would really appreciate it so I can report it.  I don't know if these are hackers that took this phone number from someone or just One that they use. I looked the phone number up on  My phone number app and it says it to safe, low risk  Of scam, so apparently they've taken someone's number to use for  This.
