I received a call from Angela, from number 608-225-2381 the other day.  The message left was only that her company is expanding in the Madison area, and wanted to speak to me.  When we spoke, she then disclosed that the company is Primerica.  Then started to ask me about my experience in training and customer support.  But never once engaged in any discussion about my technical abilities which is crucial given my line of work i'm applying and looking for, yet still is asking me to stop by at the Royal Ave. office for an interview.  I agreed to it.  But since hanging up, it has bothered me that she never inquired about my technical skillset.  I've been thinking that this might be some sort of Amway or other marketing scheme.  She only gave very vague details about Primerica, and never mentioned anything about software, what they're hiring for, or anything like that.  I'm not questioning the credentials of Primerica, I understand they're doing well, but that doesn't mean things aren't sketchy or i'm about to waste my time on an 'opportunity' that I have absolutely no interest in.  And I'm too old to be dragged into another bs interview, and too broke to waste any resources on a bs interview.  I'm gonna follow my gut on this one and cancel the appt.  Nothing feels right about it.

Wow!  i just got a call today from Neil and I thought it waas strange that he called my cell.  However, I am familiar wiht primerica the compant he's representing.  I believe he got my information from careerbuilders.com because I just submitted my resume online last week and have been flooded with sale calls.  I will meet with him to see what it's all about and make a determinatio from there.  But I am glad i googled first.  Thanks.

This may be a legitimate company, however when I googled Neil Lischka (his spelling) I found I wanted to cancel my interview today. The conversation I had with him made me hopeful, however he specified that my background had nothing to do with the company's ambitions and led me to believe something completely different about what they were attempting. Upon reading this, I decided to call and cancel the interview, yet I keep getting error messages when attempting. I find this company too sketchy with its tactics, and I bid that one should consider the reputation they may get in the work market should they accept the position working for this gentlemen. Happy Job Hunting!

I too received a call from Neil Lischka on 12/28/10.  Interstingly, I had just updated my resume on CareerBuilder a few days prior.  I scheduled an appointment with him at the 2800 Royal Ave #121 53713 address.  I was unable to make the interview we had scheduled and call back to reset for today.  I got a rather odd feeling from speaking with him the second time (kinda creeped me out).  Needless to say, I was having second thoughts about going to meet someone for a job I had not applied for.  I am glad I googled this address because I found all these posts.  I am not a salesperson and my resume does not mention a sales background.  Since the Royal Ave address is quite a ways from my home, I too I am not going to waste my limited resources on this guy's fishing expedition.

Neil Lischka has called me twice within the past week, looking for trainers and middle-management for the Primerica company. He had no idea what my employment background was so I am not sure how he got my phone number. I have recently been on CareerBuilders.com, however.  I am on the no-call list.  I originally set up to meet with him later this week, reluctantly, but will now call and cancel that appointment.  I was glad to find similar postings. It made my decision much easier!

Here was go again.  Neil called me again today (the last call was July2010), only a couple weeks after I updated my resume on careerbuilder.com.  Doesn't leave the name of the company nor the position...

I too was contacted by Neil Lischka regarding a job. This was 4 months ago and I told him I wasn't interested. Then today 3/23/11 I got another call from him? I am on the no call list and put my resume on Careerbuilder which seems to be the link for this man to get his information. I am set to interview with him on Friday even though I have had bad feelings regarding this since the first time he called me. I am thinking I will not go for the interview after reading the above information even though some of it is good. I just don't know why he would call me I have no financial background?

I received a phone call from Niel Lishka on August 11, 2010.  I have no clue how he obtained my number and I also do not know the name of the company that he is representing.  Since I am on the no call list I feel that he has no right calling.

I also received a call from Neil Lischka and he wants me to come in for an interview.  He said I wouldn't be selling anything but he was soooooo vague about every question I asked and that raised some red flags.  NOT INTERESTED NEIL

I received the same call this morning from Neil L. I had made an appointment with him. But now that I know what the company does and everything, I won't be going this is not what I'm looking for in a job. Glad I looked this up to see what this company was about. He told me he found my name on career builder. I was  floored at first but suspicious since not many companies call you unless you have put an ap in with their companies. I will continue looking for what I want to do. Thanks to all that wrote info. here it helped me out.

I received a call from Neil and he seemed evasive when I asked what he did and sounded surprised when I said I never heard of them. he didn't get into detail about what they did and cut me off when I was starting to ask. he didn't seem interested in what I had to say and just wanted to move the conversation along even though I have no experience in this type of work he said I sounded like someone he would like to talk to. I set up an interview and them googled them and I was amazed this type of thing still goes on.

I'm surprised reading some of the messages on here.  I worked with Primerica for a while, and it is a LEGIT business.  However, it is not like many other companies that would hire you....I would compare it more to Real Estate, in the way that you're investing a little and having to put in the hard work in return for any gain.  I admittedly couldn't do the work required to get myself off the ground, but have seen several success stories.  I also continue to invest and work with an advisor to this day.  It's a company that truly cares about helping people, and helped me find my focus and prioritize getting myself 100% debt free.  Anyone would be lucky to work for them, if you think it's for you.

Just a suggestion for those skeptics: Type in any bank's name on this planet, and the word 'scam' and see what pops up.  Then, maybe go check out the fact that they really do have an A+ rating through the BBB.  Primerica's no joke, and I've seen it transform lives.

Transforms lives right into the poorhouse that is.  It's a pyramid scheme, nothing more than that.
