Robo chick called my cell asking if I would be interested in a free home security system.  I said "only if you have one that protects me from telemarketers at dinner time".  Call then disconnected.

Some robotic [***] asking if you want a free security system.  It isn't a real person so tell her she is a [***] and see what happens.

a robot that just keeps repeating "Hi, this is Julia Harper" over and over again.  Guess they haven't sold enough of whatever it is they are selling to get a real nice telemarketing machine

Bad enough to get the calls on my landline, now I'm getting them on my cell phone. I hate these calls.  Next time I'm giving them the address of the Sheriff's Dept.

For a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

I have received 5 calls already this morning. Robo call and when you try to talk to someone it says they will call you back in next 24 hrs. I have also tried to remove my name from list!!!!!! Aarrggghhhhh

Robo calls  to my cell several times a day. When the automated message actually activates, it pitches security systems. Harassment!
