    Caller left vm introducing herself as Sandra Thomas. Said she’s calling regarding repayment issues with my student loans. Asked me to call back at 8663219933. Gave me reference number to call back with.

    Please note...NO ONE will ask you this in this manner. Do not fall for it. Check your own records and call your own student loan contact to verify any odd requests if you are feeling concerned. Be safe and smart. This was a SCAM. Just ignore it and block the original number if you can.

    Just received this same call - left a vm.  I don't have any student loans.....

    A very human-sounding automated "Karen" called from 609-283-3744 and left a message on my cell offering to lower my student loan interest; I don't have any student loans. "Karen" said to call 866-306-1414 and provided a 6-digit reference number.
