NCO 609-373-1904 keeps calling me. I've been filing complaints with
the FTC everytime NCO calls now. I hope FTC actually DOES something about them. I've been getting calls all week sometimes two to three times a day. I hope filing with FTC will actually stop them. NCO is annoying!

Hi Everyone, I called NCO at their 1-800-550-9619 number and requested they take me off their list. They said I should be off in 24-48 hours. They said someone by the name of "Matthew" gave them my number. I know no one by the name of Matthew with my last name. So if your having a problem with 609-373-1904 call that 1-800 number. Will see if they do take my numbner off. Hope this helps everyone.

This call was from Chrysler Finnancial. They are obviously a debt collector.

This number has called seven times today...

This is getting a little old...

Received two calls from them today.  No message left.  Called the number back and I get put on hold.  Then it tells you that they are recording the phone call.

They have been on my caller ID several time every day for like a month.  There is never a message so I have no idea who they are or what they want and it's not my job to call them and find out.

I just got a call from a 609 373 1960 gave me a hispanic name and also a date of birth!!!!!!! and wanting to talk to this person..did not want to give me her name or from what company was she calling from. When I tried to call back to # there is no dial tone at all and then got disconnected.
Does anybody knows about this????

I get calls about 10 times per day from this number, and 2 others - 703-656-9956 and 410-202-0069. All the numbers are the same scammers from NCO. I no longer have a Capitol One Card, and paid my balance in full 2 months ago. I am being warned that they are in fact a scamming collection agency. They need to be stopped! Do not give them any information, nor send money to them.

They have been calling several times a day for a week so for,,,caller ID says NCO,,,
I'm on the DO NOT CALL Registry,,,

Cell phone called first then home phone.

Received a phone call for the past 3 days. no message left.

this is mostly likely a scammer trying to get your money.
Even if its a telemarketer, beware..They are many fake telemarketers out there.

they call everyday,but leave no message.sonzabitches.

i reject caller from my cell phone and i do NOT get a message. my voice mail has SIT tones and a message for cap one that this is a cell phone with a new owner AND i do not have access to past number owners. plus i have NEVER given this number out.

i think, according to the FDCPA, it is illegal for debt collectors to call cell phones as it makes the amount owed higher having to spend cell phone $. basically it is making the debt more without going through proper legal channels, which is a no no.

Before paying old debts, check here to see if the statute of limitations has expired  (i.e., one state is 3 years for open accounts(credit cards) or last charge for goods/services rendered, 5 years for closed accounts, 10 years for judgements (renewable to 20 years)). BE AWARE if you make any payment or agree to start paying again the clock starts over from 0.

btw: i am NOT a lawyer. you should check with a lawyer before making any decisions.

p.s. the do not call list does NOT pertain to collectors, charities, and political calls. i wish it was a DO NOT CALL PERIOD list. and tell callers to "put you on their do not call list". i think legally they have to do it. asking to be taken off a call list that doesnt exist will not work.

Keep getting calls from this number and they wont stop calling. Have told them time after time that the person they are looking for is not at this number.

This ppl just wont stop calling, even though my number is on the Do Not Call list!

I just got a phone call from this number... I did not recognize the number and I decided to pick up, and I did not say anything.  No one said anything either.  I hung up.

I just got a call from them this morning, but no message. If it is NCO, they will badger you endlessly, calling multiple times an hour using different numbers. The few times I have answered their calls, no one is there. If the calls are coming to your mobile phone, install an app called MR NUMBER. It blocks any number you select by either sending it straight to VM or picking up and hanging up. Either way, you never hear the phone ring. Veey effective.

It's NCO Financial doing collections for Capital One.  Yes, they are debt collectors.  I'm in BK.  They need to stop calling.  This is becoming harrassment.

The initials stand for  National Capital One  NCO   -    Capital One trying to hide under someone's skirt.
