Pretty sure this was a scam caller. Loud, noisy background. Others in the background looking to speak with other callers. He hung up as I began asking questions to find out more about his call.

Hung up right after I announced my company and my name.  Very creepy.  Repeated my name and hung up.

Caller had a thick accent; he hung up after we told him we could take a message but he could not leave a voice mail.  Asked for someone by name and extension at a business in Illinois.

Guy with a foreign accent called me on my work phone, I said my first name, he then asked me if I was first name and then said my last name, I said yes, he then hung up.  I attempted to call back but apparently the number does not receive calls.

Same as other experiences above - definitely spam.  After I answered my work phone with "this is xxx," there was a long pause and he repeated in an accent "this is xxx," said "thank you," and hung up.  Left me with an uneasy feeling as I never answer unknown numbers on my personal cell.

Same experience as everyone else. Called my work and asked for me by first and last name then hung up.  Thick accent.

Today was the second time this number called my office and asked for me by name.  The first time they said their name was Peter Bob and from a clinic to discuss a personal matter.  Today, their name was Josh from "York". My co-worker said they had a thick accent and was very rude.  Once the call was transferred and I answered, they hung up.  This seems to be very shady.

Guy called my direct desk line with my legal name, and these two things are never connected. I refused to confirm my name unless he said where he was calling from, would only say "Doctor's Office" When I hung up, he called our main line and got transferred to me. When I did finally confirm my name, he immediately hung up.

Man with heavy accent called asking for someone that works for our company. I told him that she did not actually work in the office. He asked when she would come back. I told him I had no idea. He said he wanted to leave her a VM. I told him again that she did not work in the office and that if he needed to speak with her I would take a message and get it to her. He seemed unhappy about that and hung up. Hopefully he won't call back.

Called into my office and I answered the phone. He said my 1st & last name, I said yes, he then hung up. Same experience as everyone else. Thick accent.

Same as everyone else, called my company asked for someone who doesn't work here, told him he had wrong number he hung up. Same guy with thick accent called right back asked for the same person, told him again he had the wrong number, he then fought with me about where he's calling, i told him yes that's the company but that person does not work here, he then said [***] and hung up

This number called my work line 3 times asking for me. I finally answered, not giving my name and refused to give it even after he stated "we have documents for her" and when asking what the documents were, they hung up and never called back.
Left a weird feeling with me.

Same experience as above - thick accent male asked used my full name - I responded yes and he hung up.  When you try to call back number the message "We're sorry, your call cannot be completed as dialed comes on."

Someone called twice today asking for an employee name that's only used for sales bids - not a real person! Thick accent, claimed to be a doctor from Vancouver Hospital and wanted to discuss results. The first time I told them that the person doesn't work here anymore. The second time I told them they aren't in and offered to take a message to which they replied they would call back. Definitely a scam and can't wait for them to call back so I can play with them some more!

Called my work phone #, which I did not think was listed. Heavy accent and lots of obvious call center background noise as with others. Pretended to not be who he was calling and asked if I could take a message. He got kind of skittish and then asked if I could connect him to voicemail. I asked who was calling and he called himself Shane Anderson. I then pressed for where he was from and he said "Dr. Brown's Office". I have no Dr. Brown and hung up immediately

He asked for someone who no longer worked with the company and I said she does not work here anymore. He then repeated and said "She does not work there anymore" and I said yes. He then hung up.... I am so mad at myself I usually catch these. I hate saying "YES" because they use that against you.

I got this same thing. Called my work customer service line asking for me. Said they were from Dr. Harris Clinic. Verified they had right person with first and last name, when i said this is him, he started talking and immediately hung up.

Same with me.  Asked if I was me and did that twice and then hung up
