Called and a colleague answered the phone in my absence. He asked for me by name, and when she told him I was unavailable, he hung up. Clearly stated that his name is Jack Richard.

This number called my supervisor's phone, and she wasn't in the office so it rang to me. I kept asking the individual to clarify what the call was for and if I could assist him (typical processes in our office when my supervisor is away). He was very adamant about talking to my supervisor and was not giving me any information regarding the nature of his call and then after I kept pushing him because it seemed very sketchy he said "I have legal, confidential documents of hers." It all seemed very sketchy so I advised him I'd transfer him to her voicemail, but she was still in a meeting so thankfully never spoke to him (he didn't leave a voicemail for her).

If you receive a call for you or someone else from this number, DO NOT ANSWER, or if you answer, HANG UP IMMEDIATELY.

someone called my work number twice and was very insistent on speaking with me directly. I was in a meeting so he told my colleague he needed to speak with me and he had some confidential legal documents for me. He had a thick Indian (?) accent and refused to leave his name/number

Called my work line and asked for my boss. When I explained he wasn't there he asked to leave a VM - we don't have that - so he wanted to call back and I told him he needed to leave message. That's when he said he had important legal documents. Now we're a government office, you have legal documents you go to our attorney. After I repeated this several times he hung up on me.

My experience was the same as all before me but I did not get a name from the individual on the other end. Apparently he has too much time on his hands to call all these business and making people uneasy. Maybe that is the plan to make you feel uneasy.

Called and asked for Alyssa. I informed him there is no one here by that name. He said, "She is listed as the only employee at X Company." I said, "You have the wrong number." He asked, "Is this X Company?" I said, "No." He said, "You are affiliated with X Company." I said, "Nope." He then said, "What company is this...idiot?" I said, "Excuse me?" He said, "What is the name of this company, stupid?"

Bwahahahaha Yeah. Okay.

Was called by this number at my office.  After I answered with my first name, caller with Indian accent said, "Hello Peter how are you today?", then when I asked who's calling please, he hung up.

Said he had med docs from Dr David Brown.  Asked why he did not have our address, said because first time calling.  thick accent, fishy.  Blocked.

Guy called and said his name was "Dr. David Miller", asked for someone who doesn't work in our office.  Tried to say he had important documentation to go over with said person.  Said he would try again another time.  This is not the first time I have had this call at my place of business. Shady

Bahahahaha. These guys at this number suck. When they called me, they said they were from a construction company. Yeah, sure. I TOTALLY believe it.::snickers::

They did exactly the same to me!  Hate these callers!  Tried calling back and get busy signal.

Called into my office and I answered the phone. He said my 1st & last name, I said yes, he then hung up. Same experience as everyone else. Thick accent.

Same thing as everyone else. Very strange.

Same deal. Thick, Indian accent. Didn't know any other English except how to ask for the one person whose name he had. Kept demanding to be sent to VM whenever I asked for his number to take a message. He eventually just said he would call her personal line, so I thanked him and hung up. TOTALLY A SCAM from a call center.

Called my company phone, He repeated my name in a heavy accent and then hung up.... very creepy.

Called and asked for one of our reps, saying that they had documents for him, and only told me that they were "legal" documents... sorry dude, if you were legit, you'd have the direct ext or cell phone of the person that you have legal documents for...

Indian or African accent, called himself John Michael.  Called and asked for me by name.   He claimed to be from New York City Hospital.  I asked a bunch of probing questions which he would not answer until I verified my name which I did not do.  I think he got frustrated and hung up.  He called two more times asking for people who don't work here again I played along for a while he insisted I verify my name.   He finally hung up when I said I was one of the people he asked for.   Probably was just recording the name and the response for some other scam.

I just got a call just like yours Operator. He was requesting to speak with a doctor and hung on me as well.

Same as all the others. After I said hello and my name, caller with thick accent repeated my full name and said, "How are you {full name}", then hung up.
