SCAM!!!!   Answered a call from this # because I was expecting a call from someone else. Recorded message said to press 1 to talk to an acct representative to lower my ppl bill.   I DON’T EVEN HAVE PPL.

suppose to be PPL Energy - this is a phone scam after your private info.

I received call, but did not answer because my phone says scam likely. They did not leave a message. I blocked the number.

Unknown caller called at 5pm. No message was left.

Locked up with hard labor.

Called at 2:28 PM on 4/10. Didn't answer and no message left.

Got 3rd call w/ no msg, so called them back anonymously (*67 610 200 0429
VMsg said press # (1 or 2) if you received call from us. I did. It said that they apologize & are doing best to find out the source of (basically) who’s using their # for all these calls that are not coming, they said, from them. And suggests blocking this #.  (Other Option was “to make an appointment press 1 or 2.) A bunch of Physical Rehab offices did come up when I researched this #.  (IDK who/what to believe anymore. Technology is being abused, more than used for good lately it seems) Good luck out there folks. Protect yourselves; I’m thinking no phone at all sounds good!

The call offered discount energy. I asked to be removed from their calling list. (I don't remember if they were one of the ones who hung up when I asked this or if they were one of the ones who said that they would remove my number.) After coming here, I saw someone mention the name of the company offering the discounted energy, so I googled them. There were several articles or news stories about Eversource Energy saying that someone is using their name to pull off a scam--maybe several different scams. Apparently these scammers are spoofing the phone number from a different (legitimate) company and using Eversource's name.

I answered this call and heard silence so I called it back and received the message "The number you called is not currently setup".

If they call from another number then it isn't this number so I'm not sure why you posted in this thread.
