I have located the company that is producing these annoying calls I also have the president of the company's email and I am going to send him a lovely little letter. I keep geting calls ftom this company and when I answer the phone they hang up.

Recieved 4 calls in the last two days from this number... when it rings enough times for me to get to it, there is no one there. Sometimes it only rings once or twice. It's definately annoying, if nothing else.

keep calling my cell phone, not leaving message, called the number and there is a directory that you have to enter someone's name into to talk to someone

They've called about three times everyday for the past two weeks or so. Most of the time it just shows up as Out of Area. And no one speaks if we answer. Sometimes they let the answer machine go for a few seconds, and then hang up.

They called today 3 times within 2 hours.  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  I sent an email to all 8 of the address above and told them to remove me from their list.  Once they have been notified I can report them to the National No Call service if they call again.

Call didn't leave message. I believe they've called from another number as well to ansewer survey.

I am asking you don't call me again  the next call is going to result in legal action as I have notified my state attorney general and a local law firm here in town

good luck on that I tried that and it has not worked  you may have to contact your state attorney general to see about a lawsuit if nothing else

Called the president and said to take my number off of their calling list.  Said I was on the 'Do Not Call List' and if they call again I will take legal action.  Damn telemarketers anyway.  They drive me crazy, this one only rings long enough for you to get up to get to the phone, then hang up as soon as you pick up!!!!!

For your information, regardless of what your rules are, if a number is on the 'Do Not Call List', you are required by law to abide that.  And, it means just that......Do Not Call.  I will not tolerate your rules that you can call up to 10pm and to wait until you answer or to even be nice to you.  Why don't you post your home number for all to see and then see how you feel when we start calling you, oh, 10-15 times a day all the way up to 10pm.  You people make me sick.

It's now June 2009 and I too started getting hang up calls from Eastern Research Services.  It's particularly annoying because it's my cell phone and I have to pay for the calls.

If you are on the do not call list (and if you aren't, why not?), then please file a complaint against this company by going to the website www.donotcall.gov and pressing the box that says "file a complaint."  The number of the company is 610-543-0575 and the name is Eastern Research Services.  Remember that:

You must have been on the government do not call list for 31 days.

It's www.donotcall.gov.  Not www.donotcall.com.

If enough of us complain the Feds will put their thumb down on them.
