9/12/23 tax debt relief scam. calls from different numbers (i received first one on 8/16/23 from 435-276-0172), prerecorded (fake) voicemail (sometimes straight to voicemail using slydial, so they know they're calling a cellphone which is illegal) from "molly" with "the tax group". number given for callback 943-218-90xx (last 2 digits different each time, first one from 435# was 12, 2nd from this 610# was 69) and those numbers are disconnected. callback to number calling from gets advertisement claiming to be "the desk of karen hollis with national tax debt llc, an a+ bbb rated company. we've been trying to reach you" re some fake "program" etc. 435# disconnected now i notice.

How do they know that they are calling a cell phone and why would they need to use that program to leave a ringless voicemail?
