I answered the phone. Had to say hello 3 times before someone answered. They asked for me, told them ii wasn't here since I didn't recognize the number as SSI. Said they would call back.

Some kind of phone company survey.  They asked for my manager and I gave it to him thinking it had something to do with Social Security, plus it was a local number.  He hung up when he found out what they wanted.

Called me yesterday, asked for me. I asked what this was about and it was about some survey. Told them I wasn't interested and not to call again.

They just called again. Again, I told them I was not interested and told the woman off for calling at almost 9pm on a week night.

Picked up the phone and heard series of beeps. No voice. I hung up.

Calls several times a day. Caller ID says SSI. They call under different local numbers. I have never answered the phone when they called to see what they wanted.

My husband answered. It was a survey about the election and they said if he just took the surgery, they wouldn't call back. We'll see...

Miss call, SSI. Not interested in giving any opinion on politdicks calls.

These jerks keep calling -leave no message.  Scam - BLOCKED it.

Called at 7:32 PM caller id came up as SSI.  Voice mail picked up, scratching, garbled, then some girl came on with some sort of accent, stating that she was with a "national data collection firm, then asked if anyone was on the line and hung up.

called me just before 9 PM and left no message. Caller ID said SSI, but SSI doesn't call people!

In this case, its Survey Sampling, a marketing research company. Charities, along with some Survey's and Political calls, are exempt from the DNC, however, they can still get into trouble for not placing you on a internal DNC when asked, you can also check your states laws in regards.  Some states have different laws in regards to the calls,  which can differ from the federal but as far as I know, Oregon is the only one that does not allow Charity calls.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or less. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

SSI call at 5:35 pm. It was a survey call and told her we don't do survey tho she was looking for my daughter. Next, I will ask her to not to call back.
