Received call from a woman whom I could barely understand (Indian?).  I could hear lots of other people in the background.  She wanted to speak to my husband and I went into my secretarial mode.  May I ask who is calling?  This is from (mumble Healthy mumble) as a courtesy call.  Was I authorized to speak on his behalf?  Yes.  She followed up with "Is Mr. suffering from pain with his knees, back....."  Unfortunately I listened as long as I did because my husband has been ill and had surgery and we have many insurance calls, doctor office calls, etc.  But then I realized SCAM.  And I said to her "oh now I get it.  SCAM.  This is a bunch of BS."  And then I hung up.  I gave no info but where do they get info from?  I often wonder if they have an "inside person" working at a hospital who sends them this info.    I have gotten similar calls before but none started quite this way.   As for call type, I would put it under SCAM but it is not listed on this form.  They obviously want personal info.  Hence, scam.

I had 2 missed calls from this number no msg left (on my cell) I'm going to block it, the post above helped thank you!

3 phone calls in 10 minutes from this number asking for a person who is not affiliated with this organization

up to over 50 blocked #'s now...called, one second blank message.

Number called just says Avondale. Since we have quite a bit of unpaid medical bills (something we are working on!)  I answered. I say "Hello".....  ....... background noise, but no one answers. I just keep the phone on, until they hang up!  I just don't know how to block numbers, but if I did, there would be at least 10.  ***UGH***
