On another web site there are multiple reports that the caller asked them to complete a survey.

I received a call from 612-235-4199 and a man who identified himself as "Louis Mercado" said he works for "Car Research" or "Call Research" — although, when I called back a recording identified the company as "Venture Data Call Research".

He said they were conducting a survey in Minnesota about political issues, and after I told him what county I live in, he said "Okay, those are all the questions I have, thank you very much for your time" and abruptly hung up without giving me an opportunity to ask to be placed on their do not call list — rude! Although, it looks like their website has a do not call list request form.

This # called us today, no message was left on the VM.

Today is a SUNDAY!

They just called us 2 seconds ago!

Yeah, you bet that I'm calling Level 3 LLC and reporting them tomorrow morning with the dates, times, etc...of the calls. It's SUNDAY(first time for us ever, a Sunday?) and I'm tired of these people! I've looked up every number or spoofed # that has called using VOIP services through Level 3 LLC. They need to either do something about their "customers" who are using these VOIP services to harass and scam people or be held responsible for allowing them to do this to people. This is ridiculous for this to be going on with the number of the complaints from these #'s!  

If they continue to harass us from this #, I WILL seek legal action-Enough is Enough already!

CallerID says "Out of area". No message left.

This number just called me on Sunday and did not leave a message.  Not calling it back.

this message was on my caller ID several times with no message.  I was home today so answered.  A woman said she was calling on behalf of HealthPartners to do a survey, but was very vague.   Seemed fishy so I said no thanks. In this age of 42% of all fraud resulting from access to medical information I didm't trust it.  HP is reputable.  If they were running a legit survey, this lady would have had a different delivery.

Several "survey" phone calls to my spouse (who signed us up for Heath Partners insurance). They wouldn't talk to me. When they finally called back for my spouse, I recognized the number and handed over the phone. The survey woman spoke a few words, my spouse said "Ok, go ahead." Then...silence... "Hello? Hello? Are you still there?"

We could hear many people talking in the background, but no one on the line. Hung up. Called back. The line picked up, we again heard many people talking in the background, but no one was on this line. Strange. Maybe the survey person went off to the loo.

Daily calls from another number that does not leave messages. All my phone numbers are on the national do not call list which seems to be more of a joke because I get more calls today than I did before I put my numbers on that list. I don't give out my number, have not signed up for new business, and do not have debt collectors calling. No reason to call me other than scams. How about some consumer protections because I am tired of filing complaints with FCC almost daily and nothing ever happens! The calls keep coming! The IRS wants money from me, I have won a trip, or they have a credit card deal for me. I am not in the land of the free because I pay to be a slave to scam artists. Time for our government to protect us!

A man called asking to speak to my husband, I said he wasn't available, and he then asked to speak to a registered voter... I said I am, and he said they are completing a survey in our area, and could he ask a few questions. His first question was where do I live.... I asked if he's completing a survey in my area, you should already know that, he stumbled on his words, got quiet, then I hung up.

Block the number. It’s that simple.

Silence and hangup. Probably a robot checking for active phone numbers.
