It's always a recorded message even when you answer the call.

Received a call for an invitation to bid on construction contracts.  Checked the area code and thought nothing of it since I have family in Minnesota (612 area code).  As always, too busy busy to think, called back and held rather than pushing zero for an operator, but hung up when I googled the number and found postings.  Need to call AG's offices in our respective states.

Hey brother, Just got a call from them.  Same game.  No offense, but this is a Minnesota area code, not North Dakota.  If you really took the time to call AG office, call Minnesota.  This Robertson Guy really sounds like a feral cat.  He ought to be trapped, neutered and released, so he cannot create any pesky copies of himself. That's what we do with our feral animals in Hawaii.

He calls and says "we have jobs in your published industry".  I just updated my MANTA account with new trade industry designators less than a week ago.  It has to have come from MANTA.  I will check with them. I suggest others check if the have a link to Manta.

Got a recorded call from this number at my business.  "Paul" said he had some projects in our industry that he would like to do with us.  Hung up and checked here.  Thanks all!

I just got the same call on my cell same name  when I listened to the voice mail even him speaking did not sound right  so I called back  and I said some one just called my number   and then I was hung up on  iv tried calling back more then once and no answer after  like the 5th time I got a woman  and I told her if they did not take me off there list I would report em   and she hung up   when I called back the 1st time it was a male  then when I called back and someone answered  it was a female

They are stating that banks are paying them to find "legit" contractors to do work in your area on foreclosed houses.  I have received this call numerous times.  It's a scam and fake.  They want you to pay for a background check up front $99.

Yep, called us too... Just ask for Paul... Many times they have called over past few months.

They will not stop calling. I did business with Service Magic some years ago. A more disreputable company you will never meet. They are now called Home Advisor. I would not give them any money. it would not surprise me if they are all connected. I just want them to stop calling me, the calls just make me hate them more, I tell everyone.  Be safe, Brian

I got a call from these guys yesterday. I googled the number before calling back and saw this post. When you call you get put onto hold, with the option of dialling extensions if you know them. I saw that someone had been on hold for 20 mins when they called so I started guessing at extensions. Extensions 104 to 109 get you through to people. The first person I spoke to said that Paul Robertson was his assisstant and told me he was looking for GC's in my area to do work on foreclosed homes. I said I wasn't a GC and he hung up on me. I called back, trying lots of extensions. Each time I got through to voicemail I left a long voicemail. Each time I got through to a person I asked them to please hold and started playing music down the phone. If you can't beat them - join them?

I also thought it would be fun to go to their website and register as Paul Robertson.

Paul Robertson left me a message to call back about construction work in Memphis. I tried to return the call 3 times, on the 4th time a lady called and said that Mr Robertson called me by mistake and that he doesn't need anyone in my profession (architectural designer) then she immediately hung up. Very unprofessional which leads me to think this actually was a scam.

And on their website, why is there a MN phone number and a NY address????? Hhmmmm?

They left me a message, I called back and the offer was the same very good to be true, no monthly fees, 2-4 jobs per week from owned bank homes for general repairs and maintenance jobs, all they needed was our company info and 99 for a background check. Almost full me but I told her I was going to talk to my partner.

So far they could not find out, they will call me back and confirm in the next couple of days. I am starting to get very suspicious about Work Site

Our business keeps getting these calls also. We had to change my husband's cell number because of the amount of calls he was getting from this company.

Lucky me, I did work for a company (Energy REO Solutions) that did what this company claims by robo dial.
THEY ARE a scam. When we sought contractors, there was never a charge for background check, INS and Contractor Lic verification only depending on work. We had our own dept that handled that. The guy who started this gig is out of Texas. I am in the Twin Cities and this is an area code from here, but doubt there is any (one) HERE!

I work in a flooring showroom and Paul Robertson calls with a weird number saying "We have some jobs for you, yadda yadda" and I ask "Where are you located?" and when he kept talking, I knew it was just a stupid recording. Lame!

have had many calls from this number, called back finally got thru it was cheyanne from san diego wanted $99    for background check told her i would check out web site could not find it, but found this site, am very glad for that. THANX!!!

We just got a call from this number too.......................the only place we have ads is on Craigslist, so that's where they are getting at least some of their information to contact people and businesses.
Don't buy into it!!! It's a total SCAM !!
