Caller said her name was Stacy, from Wells Fargo Bank. Called for someone who hasn't worked here in over a year and a half. She wouldn't leave a message, and hung up on me when I wouldn't transfer her call.

Almost sure these are bill collectors from Wells Fargo! I hung up before the had the chance to identify themselves after they mispronounced my name, dirty b's.

This is a spoofed, or fake phone number, so it's not Wells Fargo. They don't do bill collecting anyways they would Farm it out. It's some type of spam just don't answer

Called and they hung up when I answered my business phone. Probably, mining for active numbers for  robocallers & telemarketers.

They called and asked for our business owner by first name. I told them he wasn't here, could I help them with anything? They asked if I was in charge of making decisions regarding credit card processing. I told them we work with a very specific company that knows our industry very well and that we weren't interested in switching to anything. She told me that it wasn't about switching. After I told her again we weren't interested in anything, she seemed a little stunned and then mumbled something to someone who must have been in the same room as her, then she hung up. Definitely phishing for something.

ame thing----called for someone who hasn't been at my number for 2 years.  So I told her, but I've had  3 calls in 4 days  since.  They don't understand any part of NO.  Collection agency?  From the calls I've had it's quite clear that the previous owner of my number did a balcony jump.  I've had a number of calls from collectors.  Sure, I could change  my number, but the time it would take to notify all of my contacts  would take months, and the rest of the spam callers would catch up to me.  And I'd still be stuck with someone else's old number.   But 3 calls in 4 days---after telling them they have a wrong number?  That's just harassment.

This number calls at least 1 - 2 times a day. When I answer there is nothing on the other end.

They were from wells fargo about credit card processing. I asked to be taken off the list and was told she didnt have the power to do that. I asked for her supervisor and she then explained she was a supervisor. i then asked for someone i coudl talk to who could take me off the list and she said ti was a technician who could but they are not allowed to talk to customers.
then she hung up.

Everyday between 10-11 AM I get this on my caller id. NO ONE there!
