Seriously, every hour.

"Is (one of the presidents) there?" I transfer her, and she gets his voice mail (he's ignoring her, and rightly so) so she rings back down to me;
"Do you know when he'll be in?"
"No ma'am, I just answer the phones"
"What time does he normally come in?"
"I don't know, ma'am, I just answer the phones"
"I'll just call back in an hour, do you think he'll be there?"
"I don't know, ma'am, I just answer the phones."

You'd think after, geez, 10 days of this BS that she'd get the hint....

Patrick White will only leave a call back number of 469-828-2810 for Mrs (last name). I AM Mrs (last name), and he didn't know my first so eff you! Blocked #!

Jim Boling (spelling) called from Generational Equity from this number. A woman named Tori had been calling previously and claims to have spoken to my boss but she hadn't. In his voicemail, he said, "We think your business is worth a lot more now than we had previously discussed. Give me a call so we can talk about it".

My office received the exact same message from that guy.  The business is broke, so how can it be worth more?  What a jerk!

I've been sending their calls straight to voicemail for over a year - I don't want to talk to them but I listen to each message because I like hearing their tactics.  And I must say, they're getting better.

The last person who called was a woman who made it sound like she actually had a legit reason for calling.  I forget what she specifically said but it was surprisingly believable.  Then she brought it home by saying "you know what, I'm going to give you my direct line so you don't have to deal with the receptionist".  HA!  She rattled off her direct line no less than 3 times in the next 30 seconds too.

Has anyone seen the movie Boiler Room?  I suspect GenEq is somewhat like the company in the movie...but with career changers instead of young 20-somethings.

I just had another amazing call with Generational Equity. The guy who called me tried to be sincere and he acted genuinely surprised when I told him that he was the 23rd person from GenEq to call our office in the last 5 years, that I have asked to be placed on the do not call list each time they call (starting with the first caller), and that there was no freakin way I would ever do business with his [***] company.

Comments above all apply to our business as well.  We receive DAILY calls - sometimes twice a day even when I've stated my boss is not in the office.  They call from this number also - Generational EQ 954-607-6275
