How on earth did a telemarketer get access to your email account?

I know these people are scammers, but come on, nobody hacks your email from voice call on a cell phone.
99% of supposed hackings and malware - are actually the computer owner doing something stupid and their pride won't allow them to admit it - Live And Learn.

Someone emailed you something & you gave them your password and account???
That's not hacking.  That is called social engineering.  Nobody legitimate ever asks for your account numbers and passwords in email - EVER.

Quit shouting - (caps lock) it makes it hard to read your message.

Make up an account number and password and give it to them.
They want to play games - you get to make up the rules.

Sounded like a Dutch homosexual calling from a bar or crowded restaurant. He then says, "oh, hello???" then hangs up. Suspicious here, could be a thief - perv staking out the house.

This number calls me at least twice a day.  It is very annoying.

However I am on this list and I just got a call from this same number everyone is complaining about. I didn't bother answering as I do not answer numbers I do not know. They did not leave a message. So they get nothing.

that is for the american do not call list, thats why it wouldnt accept the area code!

Got call and blocked number.

Just received a call from 613-230-2890, a research company doing research.  For me, it was Scotia bank finding about how the branch is doing.  For others, it could be research for other companies you deal with.

Spam caller of the day, I went almost one week without one of these calls, and they start again. Where's the NSA when you need them?  

Can this site update the "call type" to include "spam"?

Caller blocked still called again. Annoying!

They called a few minutes ago - woman with an accent working for a "marketing firm" doing market research. When asked the name of the marketing company, the answer (requested several times) was unintelligible. When asked what kind of research, she said it was political. Asked to be removed from call list.

Got called from this number along with 607-203-5511.

I picked up the phone. She said that she called on behalf of Scotia Bank to conduct a survey. I kindly mentioned that I was not interested in the survey and removed the phone number from the calling list. Before I finished, she hang up.
