I was at work this morning and I received a call from this number, I was not able to answer it while at work, I called the number back on my break and it said the number was out of service.. :S
I have a telus cell phone so I doubt this would be caused by Bell, its not something with our phone company, its something more out there, very odd. Still trying to figure this out.

This number keeps calling my house for my sister. The guy says his name is Shane when i ask if i can take a message, but is very rude and they just keep calling. If anyone has any idea what it is, please let me know. Curious, has anyone signed up for anything online lately? Sports site or for a free trip or anything??

Two calls on my cell in four days - didn't answer (one at 11:30pm) no message. I've given my cell number to two car dealerships (Ford, Chev), that's it... I'm with Rogers.

Hi, I've also got a call from this number, however, I was having breakfast so I didn't answered it. When I reutrned the call it says " the number is not listed"
They funny thing is that I'm from Sweden and they called my swedish mobilephone. However I'm right now in Ottawa, Canada (613 as area code).
I don't know how they got hold of my number and what they want.

Got a call last night from this number and the lady was surprised I was able to speak back in French.  Asked me if I needed my windows and doors replaced.

Yeah, I got this too and when I called back I got "3 & 2, the number you have dialed is not in service". I have got credit card companies phoning me frequently and they seem to have a lot of strange ways. I also got a 613 call before. No idea what that's about.

Again, this number shows up frequently and having just learned of this service, I am reporting all unknown numbers.   Is this where we can get them from calling all the time?    No msg. just an open line.

Just curious...do any of you people have your numbers posted on Facebook? It seems the only friends of mine that get harassed are ones that left their number in the contact part of Facebook. The frineds that get calls on their cells are the ones that left their cell #'s...I get called at home because I left my home number posted.

I've received calls from this number before.  Basically, when someone uses an online telephone service like skype, their call must go through the regular phone system in the recipient's area.  This is one of the line that Skype phone calls go through.  So while in some cases, out of area telemarketers might use this number, in other cases, the number gets used by regular individuals who call their family or friends on skype.

Received many calls from this number today, hang up when voice mail comes on. I decided to call back and get the "number not in service". Went online and got this page. I've only had my current phone number for a couple of months, it's unlisted (mainly to avoid nuisance calls).

Getting 613-232-7437 calls my cell phone on a daily basis. If I answer, there's no one on the other line, if I let it go to voicemail, they don't leave a message, if I call back, it tells me that the number is not in service. Do the calls stop eventually? Bell Mobility apparently cannot do anything about it...

I do not have my unlisted house phone number on facebook but yet this number continues to call me. what can i do about stopping this call. i figure if it was important they would talk when i answer. im with telus

I have received  calls from this number at least 7 times now, and it's becoming very irritating. Is there anyone to whom I can appeal to have the number investigated or at the very least, have it blocked?

i used my sons credit card online a few times,,,,guy said he was from bank of montreal so i thought hmmm.....banking on a saturday sounds fishy to me, and they asked for my son, i said he wasnt here ,,,,,hung up  tried to phone back to check out number not in service ,,,,,,,some kind of a scam if you ask me...  do not give out any information over the phone unless you know who it is..... going to try and phone bmo and ask them...the guy is suppose to phone after 5 pm again and will he get a surprize going to tell him this call is being traced for fraud and see what happens...

This number just called me, and kept asking if I was home, of course they butchered my name....usually a give away of some annoying telefirm.  When I asked who this was, what orginazation/company and their location the operator hungup. When I called back the number was not in service, is this legal?

that number has called like 10 times in the past 2 days and when i call them back it says the number you have rached is not in service...

This is a redirect phone number used by many people and can be accessed by many countries to make them look local.  My experience with this number is from a person trying to scam me from an internet posting.

We've been getting quite a few of these calls, it's always dead air.  Phone spam! :P  Apparently anyone with a big enough VoIP setup can spoof these at will (it's a feature!), thanks to those brilliant imbeciles that run the phone network.

Calls almost every evening around 8:45pm. I don't bother answering it, and they never leave a message.
