Received exact same call "pakistani man says "We have a complaint against you, and the only way to remedy it is to send us 5,000 dollars within 24 hours, or a case will be filed against you." , responded with go ahead call the police . IT is Clearly a scam!!!

There was a call from this number asking me why i didn't updated the info ? They received a complaint. I said you come here , i will tell you.
Than he said : So are you ready for the legal action ? I said sure....... go ahead. So he put down the phone. This is a big fraud.

Got call from 613-239-1422 on 25July2016 at 11.00 a.m. asking me about I-94 form and I have to pay option 18, fight in court or option 20 to pay $2484 right now. I mentioned I don't have that much money and give me 24 hours to contact a lawyer he said no , I have to pay now otherwise will send RCMP. So I said OK. Talked with lawyer and she mention forget it.

They called today. My mom answered. She knows little English. They said that they will call the police on my husband

Got call from 613-239-1422 on 25 July 2016 at 02:58 pm,  "Pakistani man says  I am call from RCMP. We have a complaint against you,"
I did not let him complete his sentence and asked him to send me a letter. and hang up.

On 26/7/16 at 3.29 pm I also received a call from the above tel.# A man with an East Indian accent, stated he was calling from Immigration Canada as they had received a complaint about me. I suspected it was a hoax and asked him to tell me was the complaint was. He then asked me which languages I speak. I raised my tone and said : "What is your question?". He must have realized that I was being intimidated by him so he hung up. I called the tel.# back (my number blocked) and got a fax tone.
