won't leave message or hangs-up

was told they were doing a survey for the Ontario Provincial Police and would I have time to do a survey

these people called on a sunday afternoon did not leave a message. I called back to see who they were...they lied and said they were a government official...i hung up because whe i called back i used *67 and I had told the fellow who answered to take me off the lsit not remembering that he could not see my number...these are scammers and these people are liars saying they are the government when there are not government agencies working of a sunday at 4 pm in th afternoon.

They called me. I googled the number and it looks as if they are scammers

i also received a call from him. the man was very very forward looking for my information. he said he was calling from student loan services and needed my information for a survey. . .

Called my girl friend's phone 5-6 times today alone. She has not answered them and they have not left one voice mail.

She's kinda freaked about this, but I figure that if they were an actual government agency they would have left a voice mail.

Actually, my g/f had a call from these people last week asking the same thing, would have been around the time you would have been called!

I suspect they're scamers, but I'd still like to look into it.

I get at least one phone call a day from this number, with a call display of RA Malatest.  They never leave a message, and it is getting very annoying, bordering on harrassment.

I get a call from this number every evening at 8pm - never leave a message.  I called it back and it says "this number is not assigned" so obviously a scam.  They are calling a business cell phone that is on the do not call registry - Can't get rid of them!!!

Called me on my cell - left no message - when I call bck the number I get a recording that the number is not in service - this screams out the word "SCAM" to me.

They (a very breathy voice) called our business and at first asked for HR officer or someone in charge.  When I told them no one was available, they asked for my bosses name outright.  I still said no one is available.  She gave me a number of 877-688-5051 for him to call although their number came up as 613-688-5051.   They claim to be RA Malatest in Ontario.  They call several times a day and we usually ignore them.  Pain in the butt, ours is a business line and this should not be allowed.

Just got a call from this number, let the machine take it, chick calling herself Teresa said she was calling on behalf of Health Canada in regards to the risk of pollution on children and adults...also got an 877 number to return the call. Had this number show up on caller i.d. before but no messages were left.

I am sick and tired of these 'people' calling me!  They call in the evening, daytime, Saturdays, Sundays..whenever...and NEVER leave a message!

What really irks me is that I have call display - which I PAY for, but I cannot identify this "unknown caller".  I also have an unlisted number - which I PAY for, but these scammers somehow got it and call me anyway!  I refuse to answer any calls which do not identify themselves on call display and/or leave a message what the call is concerning.

Even if this is a research company (and therefore not subject to the Do Not Call legislation), how many times do these jerks have to call the same number before THEY get the message I am not frickin' interested in speaking to them?

It's about time the government and the phone companies gave the tax paying citizens an equal opportunity to fight back against this type of nuisance.  There should be a number for us to call to complain about harrassing phone calls from these so-called 'researchers'!!

I also have been getting these calls at around 8pm. On weekends as well. I never answer it. I did call it back and there was a message that this # is not in service. I just called my local OPP station and they gave me a # to have this number investigated.  Its call Phone Busters 1-888-495-8501.

Also you may go to there website and file a complaint at www.phonebusters.com. I just called them and ofcourse there closed. It is a Canadian phone fraud hotline that the OPP has been using to investigate these calls.

I got a call from this number, doing a survey on stress and work for U of T.  Then he hung up.
