Interestingly enough, I got a call from this number as well. They informed me that the RCMP was about to issue a warrant for my arrest due to tax fraud.

When I politely (miss) informed them that I was an RCMP officer with the fraud division, they hung up on me.

This number called my home.  I called back...just to be safe.  When I asked to speak with his manager/superior I was told that he owned the company.  I pointed out that is not possible, CRA being a government agency.  My repeated requests to speak with his superior were responded to with "sshhhh" and silence.

Caller Thomas jones with cra.  States has arrest warrant.  This scam I have also seen via e-mail.
They can be very aggressive.  Spam the e- mail and block the number.

Kept me on the line for over 20 min - spoke to official "manager" Logan Smith

Received a phone call this morning from the above number.  Left a message because my 12 year old daughter was smart enough to not answer the phone.  The message consisted of a bogus name, garbled by a heavy accent and telling me that a warrant was issued and the local police were coming to arrest me.  Then requested I call back at this number to speak with him to avoid arrest by the local police and clear up my tax fraud.  The most amusing part is the mispronunciation of my difficult sounding French name.  No return phone calls as of yet but I have reported the number.

Just got a call from Officer Logan Smith wanting to speak to my husband.  Same speal.  Not the first time they've called.  Bogus.

Got a bogus call, caller says he's CRA and is going to issue an arrest warrant, sounded like Middle East accent.

Same thing, east Indian by the name Jim  Arthur, Phone # 613-800-9167, will report him to the Police.

I got the same sort of call with a message on my voice mail.  Jim Arthur, Federal Badge 07862 from the Criminal Investigation Unit.  Apparently, there is a warrant for my arrest and I can expect the RCMP to show up at some point to take me away.  He told me to call back at 613 800 9167.  However, the call actually came from 800 959 8281 (call display).  I assumed that it was a scam.  Clearly, it is.

Call received from this number saying it was CRA and that they had an arrest warrant out for me.  Stated it was the national criminal info center # W395941595 Officer Vincent Badge ID 150689 , arrest warrant ID # Sw2006-004692 , Case file 1604556 ,   Attempted to report this to anti fraud division the RCMP gave me and could not log in.

been getting calls as well - message finally a few days ago and again today - said name was sean cooper.

My dad just got a call from this same person..I called the number because I could not understand the voice mail due to the severe language barrier except for the identification as an officer. This person most certainly did not sound like a government official due to his resonses only being "yah" when I asked questions and then he kept hanging up on me. I thought we were getting cut off so I made a couple of attempts to get this sorted out. Then I googled the phone number and found all of your posts..Did any of you report it to the RCMP? not sure how to deal with this other than ignore it. Caller claimed to be CRA.

I just received a message from somebody that identified himself as agent Sean Cooper from CRA asking to call back 613-800-9167 to discuss my criminal investigation RE: unpaid taxes.

This guy, with a heavy indian accent, and named himself Paul Watson, has been leaving gross messages on the answer machine, saying that he works for the CRA office. if He calls you, Hang up and call the CRA, and let them know about this guy.

Same East Indian accent - "Shawn Cooper" called and informed that I have a warrant out for arrest for the tax evasion in 2008. Then he passed me to another "John" who advised to avoid arrest by quick payment some sort of voucher ($1800) from Safe Way.
