They called today, ID as "Home Security."

This number keeps calling me. I checked the internet and found tons of complaints for this scam.  The number that they called from is 614-300-5443,  a telemarketing call center in Columbus, Ohio.

Call you state and fed reps and COMPLAIN about these calls or they will never stop. Call them everytime you get one of these calls...Make noise folks...Lots of it.  Write about it, letters to the editor, blogs, etc...Others who haven't been motivated to actively fight these low lifes may decide to chime in with their complaints....!!!

Same [***], different day.  Telemarketing criminals soliciting for their "free" home security systems.  Yeah, right... when pigs fly, [***]!

I keep getting phone calls from this number 614-300-5443.  It is very annoying.   I want it to STOP.

The old pretending to be a burglar alarm co so they can figure out which houses don't have alarms in an area so they can burgle them scam- DO NOT ANSWER, REPORT TO FTC &FCC.& # to local sherriff.

How many effing times do we have to effing call the effing DO NOT CALL list to get these effing spammers to cease and effing desist?

I have asked nicely a couple of times. Niceness didn't work.

this number called,  but we don't answer any phone call when we don't know who's calling.  Also have turned off my answering machine so these idiot scammers cannot leave a message,  not that I would ever call them back.  So tired of getting calls from people I don't know.  Some type of home security system.   I would never buy anything that comes with a phone call.

It is beyond useless to waste your valuable time to report these scammers to the DO NOT CALL list...because the DO NOT CALL list is actually [***] in its own right....I found that I would get a scam call once a week....generally from the same scammers.....once contacting them and saying, "I'm going to report....." the scammers screamed "[***] YOU !!!!" laughed and hung up...they have the balls to do this because they know....as I do now....that the DO NOT CALL list doesn't do anything AT ALL.....AND....very well may the the source of increasing the scam calls !!!!  think about it...you get pissed off...and report 1 number to the DO NOT CALL list.....if you are like me...that ONE call a week, has now turned into over 2 dozen a week !!!!!!

Further more...with VOIP services...the callers now have the ability to "SPOOF" the phone number.....Caller ID spoofing is the practice of causing the telephone network to indicate to the receiver of a call that the originator of the call is a station other than the true originating station. For example, a Caller ID display might display a phone number different from that of the telephone from which the call was placed. The term is commonly used to describe situations in which the motivation is considered malicious by the speaker or writer.

so...the SPOOF number is a LEGITIMATE number to SOMEONE....just not the [***] calling you !!!!  so, you get pissed and call the number back to threaten them....and a little old lady answers that says she has no idea what you are speaking of, she lives alone because here husband died 9 years ago and she only uses here phone (the legitimate number) one a week to call her daughter !!!

Additiionally...with "FREE PHONE" by google and yahoo....where they give you a number that only exists on the CLOUD.....but forwards to your phone.....Some scammers are now using this to call.....you NEVER catch them, because they "appear" to be all over the world !!!

I have now simply allowed EVERY call to go to VM....the spam callers NEVER leave a message...the Robo Calls leave a message that is useless.......

Sitting at my desk here at the police station, I answered a telephone call. The automated voice stated that the F.B.I. is warning of break-ins in "my area" and that I should speak with a security specialist with "Home Security Solutions". I stayed on the line and spoke with Tisha from Client Services. She stated that she needed a few pieces of information from me and could get me connected with a specialist. I gave her my first name and zip code and was transferred to another person. When I advised this person that I wanted information from her about this company to ensure that they were legitimate and that they had called a police department, I was hung up on. I called back and as soon as I stated that this was a police department, I was again hung up on. We would highly recommend not taking calls from Home Security Solutions. Should you wish to have a security system installed, we would recommend researching this, then contacting a local company yourself. the number that they called from, 614-300-5443 is a telemarketing call center in Columbus, OH and has had many complaints listed on-line. Just be careful folks!

Rinse & repeat.

This number calls frequently.  I never answer calls I do not recognize.  My number is on the Do Not Call list but apparently that does not good as I get way too many of these calls.

They called me today, quit after second ring, Blocked the # after checking here. Thanks for all that take time to post about these scumbags.

Another call from these scam artists.  They are beyond aggravating.  Blocked forever.

Donotcall.gov is a scam, too. Never accomplished a damned thing with your wasted tax dollars.

The list works great for ligitimate companies. Scammers like these don't give a [***] about the law. Do you really think scammers are going to subscribe to the FTC do not call lists? Really?
