Calls our parts department wants to price out a lot of expensive parts and put it on a credit card.  Seems like a scam to us but not sure.  Credit Card is good but out of suspension we called our cc department and they said he could dispute the charges if its within 45 days and we would be out parts and money.  So we keep avoiding the guy but he keeps calling

SCAM ALERT! We also got a call from this number. A man called our parts department and wanted to order several thousand dollars worth of parts and put on a credit card. We told him that we needed a certified check for such a large amount. He said he couldn't do that, he only had a credit card. Don't fall for it!

He tried to get us too by using faked/stolen cards - also got calls from him on 530-327-9089 phone number. Says his name is fred.

He's says his  name Daniel he is trying to do the same with our parts dept right now,

Called looking for injection part # re503049 and re64041 was extremely rude on the phone and hard to understand thinking its a prank, beware.

This person has been calling for cat parts and faxed me a list of part numbers and wants pricing and how soon he could get the parts

Caller say's his name is Donell and is looking for injection pump #s RE503049 for qty 1 and part# RE531128 for qty 4. Asked caller to come in to our store and show ID and credit card in person. No reply.

Called and asked for parts department multiple times. After third or fourth time, we began getting ghost calls. Answered the phone but there was nobody there, so we would hang up or get hung up on.

Fake name Daniel. Heavy middle eastern accent. Called looking for cat injectors. we were onto his scam. Called several times trying to convince new parts guy to use card over phone and ship. We recommended calling caterpillar store in his area as we are over 100 miles from his fake location, was pretty persistent. Also received numerous ghost calls. Received call from Daniel Scott looking for pricing on Caterpillar injector parts. Just got a feeling it was a scam from the short interaction we had. Not the average parts request call.

**Scam alert**  Called our kubota parts dept looking to buy Cat injector parts and wanting to pay with credit card over phone and have them shipped to Ohio. Said his name is Daniel (thick middle eastern accent) and he was with Master Tech.  This is a running scam....do not sell this guy parts or you risk losing your parts AND money.

***ALERT***SCAM*** Guy called our parts department with a strong accent and said his name was Daniel Scott and said he was with Master Tech Services. He wanted Caterpillar injectors. He is very hard to understand and is rude. He gave us a MasterCard to charge them to.  He made us do 3 separate transactions to the credit card. We told him to call Caterpillar directly and refused. He also wanted the parts shipped to Bismarck, North Dakota. He gave his phone number of 614.500.3114 Fax number 888.336.7112 Email danielscott1882@gmail.com

Call either MasterCard 1.800.627.8372 or Visa 7.800.VISA.911 to verify if its legit before sending the parts!!

called to place classified ad in newspapers. Same scam type ad they've been trying to run for 15+ years. Told him needed certified funds, no credit card payment, he said thanks and hung up.

Just got a call from him asking for Cat injectors, this is the 3rd time he tried this at our company. He didn't give his name but I recognized the accent and each time, of course, asking for Cat injectors. Last time he called he used the name Paul Moscoe with Pascoe Engines, number was 224 208 8691.
