called looking for Cat injectors, was suspicious. wanted to email me the "details" and wanted to schedule a pickup. he called 3 days in a row. couldn't tell me the application, engine number but had part numbers. said he was from Idaho Falls, ID. but didn't want to do business in that area and was calling from a 515-310-9738 numer. his email was davidrockefelaer946@gmail.com.

Same situation here. Dude wanted four injectors and a high dollar Electric Control Panel. Out of state from us, we are in Texas and the 515 area code goes to Iowa. We googled the number and the name. Sure glad we did. Gonna save us a bunch of trouble.

We got scammed for a lot of money, do not know anything about this site, until I was searching for this guys name-David Rockefeller with mastertech services. phone number 515-310-9738. he wanted all reman injectors and electronics kits. I questioned him and he was pretty convincing about being an overhaul company for CAT engines worldwide. he used the same email address David Rockefeller <davidrockefeller946@gmail.com>> I spoke to him today and told him I needed to have secured funds and hung up on me and will not return any emails or phone calls from me.
What did any of you guys on here do to follow up with fraud reporting?

There are some indications this scammer is working outside North America. Possibly Nigeria.

just got a call to our truck shop in nova scotia, canada from this guy
wanted to purchase high dollar CAT injectors and a control module and have it picked up via a courier
we had a similar experience last year where we lost a few thousand dollars unknowingly entertaining a similar type scam.
please everyone train your parts department personnel on recognizing this type of scam and theft

Also, got a call yesterday and today from this guy !! same thing, looking for CAT injectors, new, then reman ... sounds like a scam !!  Guys name is David Rockefeller.
