It appears a lot of people have not been paid by Confluence, including my son.  I have been looking into this situation and here is what I have learned:

Don't bother with Harry Huskey or Brian Dressel, you need to contact Don Gesick, who is evidently the owner of the company.

The company's address is 5690 Clyde Moore Dr., Groveport, OH 43125.  Don Gesick's phone number is (614) 409-0018, ext. 200.  Gesick's cell phone is (614) 332-1887.  His email is: don.gesick@confluenceservices.com.

I am trying to get the media interested in this problem.  I have contacted a newspaper in Columbus, Ohio, called the Columbus Dispatch.  (I don't live in Ohio and don't know anything about this newspaper, but they are at least willing to listen).  Contact Barbara James at "bjames@dispatch.com."  Tell her your story (when you worked for Confluence, where (which state), how much money you are owed, what efforts you have made to get paid (with what results), and whether there have been any collateral consequences (e.g., if you have lost your home, incurred late fees on bills you couldn't pay because you didn't get your paycheck, etc.)

Also, Channel 10 in Columbus (WBNS-TV) has a consumer complaint line: 1-866-836-5463.  I left a message complaining about Confluence and Gesick. They called back and left a message telling me to call "Labor, Wage & Hour" at (614) 469-5678.  I don't know if that will do any good, but if a lot of people contact the newspaper and the TV station, maybe they will become interested and do a story on this company.

You need to call WSYX it is channel 6 there. Tell them you want to talk to 6 on your side. They go out and investigate the issues that people call in about and try and help. Look on thier website, I am sure you will find something.

I am having my conference with State of California, Department of Industrial Relations, in Oakland, CA tomorrow, November 19th, 2008 at 830am.  I am owed for one hour of pay here in Hayward.

It appears I am luckier than most folks.  I only worked for Confluence Services for two and a half weeks.

My story results from my not wanting to leave my personal items in a store management office.  I have no vehicle and the Prism Retail folks have guidelines that I could not adhere too.

I worked one hour at Rite Aid in Hayward and Jay at Confluence didn't want to pay me for it so I told him you can pay me now or pay me a LOT more later.

I took this case to the labor Board in June and I am looking forward to the conference tomorrow.

TAKE EVERY LEGAL MEANS NECESSARY TO GET YOUR MONEY.  I AM AND IT'S ONLY FOR ONE HOUR.

I do NOT work for free for anyone whether it's an hour or a day.

As of this message they have paid me all but 94.25. But they still owe me said amount and I intend to collect! Would like to here from others that they may have settled with, Albeit SHORT or otherwise. Thank you!
