- Val replies to M| 1 replyHey! I just received the eacfa t same voicemail from a woman, did they ever call you back again? Or did you happen to call them back?
- MJG replies to ValVoicemails, emails, & faxes are NOT an official method of notification of debt. Demand a WRITTEN statement of the ""debt"" that is MAILED to you. They then have 5 days to comply (but don't expect anything but excuses and possible illegal threats).
- FreedanCaller did not identify who the company was that was calling but said it was very important. Hmmm. Who does that make sense to?

- hellinahandbasketi got 2 calls from this number and a 'specialist graves' left a message saying they it was imperative that i call today. she left a number of 800-695-2912 ext 1226268...not sure who she wants but i'm not wasting my time calling them back, i have no debt at all so if this is a debt collector they must be looking for someone else. i'm not sure how these idiots are allowed to continue to harass people.

- BayodThese collection calls from Comenity Bank are coming in almost daily, and sometimes they call three times, back-to-back, to get me to answer. It's a minor annoyance, and I can block their number(s), but I thought that I would share my experience just in case anyone feels threatened by their shenanigans.
Comenity Bank does exist; they provide store credit cards for such companies as Abercrombie & Fitch, Barney's, Restoration Hardware and Williams-Sonoma, however I doubt that these people actually work for the bank. It feels more like a group of scammers trying to scare people out of their money. As for me, I've never had an account with Restoration Hardware, nor have I ever owed them money. And there is no one named "Timothy" in my family. This is the transcript from today's voicemail:
"Hi, this call is for Timothy XXXX [my last name]. This is Mika [?] calling from Comenity Bank. I was calling today to offer you an opportunity to put a voluntary resolution on the situation dealing with Restoration Hardware. Without a prompt resolution from you or your attorney, I will be forced to make a recommendation on your behalf. Make it a priority to contact my office immediately at 800-695-7444 extension 1227886. I believe I can make this worth your while. I am here until 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. This call has been recorded and documented to show that you have been notified of this urgent matter. Thank you. Have a great day."- Caller: Comenity Bank
