These guys keep on calling. We had to block them even after asking them to remove.  Comenity Bank or something like there.  Apparently a tenant gave them our number .

Left a voicemail talking about I needed a attorney. It's nobody but somebody  bank.  Victoria secret, meijer,etc

Left a message on my service about a debt for someone with my last name and to call the number which is not the same as caller ID. He had an accent but not heavy and gave calling hours also. Said he was Comenity Bank as well as the caller ID was the same. Fake call!!

Keeps calling . No messages but have called people with my last name is don't know.
Who does that?

Yes they just called me too asking for someone with the same last name as mine but a different first name. Seems like a scam to me also

Comenity Bank business is what the call was about. Do not know if it was the bank. They wanted me to verify s great deal of information about my deceased wife but was unwilling to give me any information of their person with the same name. Absolutely no give and take at all.  They want me to give but nothing in return. Poor business practice on their part.

Received a voicemail message from this number. Person they asked for had my last name only. The caller sounded threatening and issued a deadline to return her call “by noon today or she would proceed with next steps that will directly affect you”. This was the first call I’ve received but the caller stated in the message that she had made repeated calls to address a “critical situation”. No company was identified but she left the following info in her message:

Her direct extension: 1236320

SCAM SCAM SCAM Several different people calling from different numbers. All saying they are from Comenity bank and it's urgent I return call immediately. Every time I block number they call back using different number and different person. Message is the same. The all give their name and ask to be called back at different numbers with different extensions. This time it was Mrs Enoch from Comenity bank calling about Gordies Preferred. Call me immediately to avoid prosecution at 1-800-695-2912. She called from 614-754-4059. SCAM

The guy was very incoherent, mumbling something about my attorney needing to call them at a different number and too many extension numbers stating that we need to clear up the (So Called) situation, but he never clearly said who he was calling for or from. My IDENTITY has been stolen too many times and am sick of that confounded Portfolio Recovery and others like them! I haven't had any credit since 1989 and they're still harassing me to pay for debts I DID NOT MAKE!!! Your life becomes HELL when I can't apply for credit, because of all the crooks!!!

They left a voice message and said they were calling about my daughter-in-law's account (they used her maiden name). I've never co-signed anything for her, so I'm not sure why they are calling me or how they even connected us. I don't even know if she has an account with them. Said his name was "Mr. Grenich" from Comenity Bank, left a return number of 800-695-2912 x1226174. Threatening tone. NOT calling them back. Call came from 614-754-4059, Columbus Ohio.

Left message for my sister attempt to collect debt and asked she have her attorney call back.  My sister and I have same last name she does not have the phone number they called me on.  It is a per pay cheap flip phone that I do not use as main phone. Used just in case of emergency on the road as I travel a lot for work.  Only my spouse and work have number.  I would really like to know how they got that number.

Scammer calling for my mother in law on mine and my husbands cell phones.He stated he is from Comedity Bank and he needs to speak with her immediately. She lives in another state. So many reports from this number. Banks don’t call on Sundays stupid!!

I have also received multiple call some with messages left to call a toll free number back, some with no message.  On Sept 24, I called back per the voice mail received and demanded to have my phone number removed from the auto-dialer.  I was assured to be removed.  Received another call today.  Time for a report to FCC, FTC, etc.

Debt collector. Never left me a voicemail but I called the number back because I have gotten numerous calls from this same area code. Picked the customer service option, guy asked for my number and name - didnt give him my name because I have no idea who he is. He politely asked if I knew the person they were looking for, I said no, he apologized for the inconvenience and said he would remove my number from their list. I was polite and he was in return - people are generally much more cooperative towards those who are nice to them.

They are calling me multiple times per hour. It’s harassment! They keep calling for a relative and I don’t even live in the same state as her. This shouldn’t be legal.

Left a message saying there are legal actions being taken on me. And that I need an attorney.  They didn't even get my first name correct.  Scam Scam Scam
