I've worked in medical collections before, and you are not allowed to use Social Security numbers to identify people.  It's against federal law.  If anyone asks for your SS#, *never* give it to them.  They have other means of ascertaining that you are who you say you are.  That said, this is a shotty operation if they are trying to collect on a debt and will not leave a message, are asking for sensitive information without identiying themselves, and hanging up when you answer.  They also call cell phones frequently.  Don't answer for this caller.  They have been annoying my fiance and I for over a year for medical bills that have long since been paid.

What kind of "legal  business" calls repeatedly and not leave a message. I am so through with yahoos' like these that call and call and not leave messages. I will not answer  the phone if I don't know who it is from. I wish there was some legal way to put a stop to these calls,because it is harassment as far as I am concerned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got a call from this number at 7:45 at night on my cell phone.  I just changed my number because of unwanted calls.  I am NOT going to go through this again.  The only people who are suppossed to have my number are my family members and friends that I choose to give it to.  I don't know who you are or how you got my number, but you can STOP calling because I am NOT answering.  So there!

i bought a trac phone,  and and with all trac phones one has too activate then with name address dob blah blah blah, the problem is i made everything up nothing on who i am where i'm at accept the zip code, but yet i get a call from these people every day 3 or 4 times a day  i don't answer so how would they even know who they are calling, oh that's right , they don't know,  that's why they want all your information .bill collectors already know who you are, never   heard of a collection company that don't know who they need to collect from.so do us all a favor, stop trying to steal money from the poor we have enough problems

Called about a bill- told them I had no clue who the bill was from and they confirmed my mailing address. I told them to send copy of debt for review and they told me they can not do that, really becuase in our state it is law to be able to see the debt. So I am waiting to see if they will mail me this bill from the mysterious, unknown doctor.

Assign a special ring to the number & save it.
Take a photo of a toilet (there's on online with money being poured into it). When you receive a call with that ring or photo, push the ignore button, typically on the side of cells.  They won't know , cuz it doesn't hang up on them, it just silences the call.

Always call me at 10:57 Eastern Time.  They're in Central Time & don't note the time diff on my acct.

I got two calls from this number within 5 minutes.  The first time I dialed back and Corey demanded a SS# and DOB, that I wouldn't give so he said he couldn't help.  

Some research showed it was a medical debt collection agency.  Not having any medical debt but concerned for my identity, I called a friend in the debt collection biz who verified the company's legitimacy.  They are a real debt collector and not phishing for personal information.  

My cell phone number is new and apparently some deadbeat owned it previously. I could spend hours a day fielding collection calls on his behalf so I'm trying to get off of these lists.

I called back later that evening and got a very helpful woman who only needed my phone number and name to take me off the list.  If the calls aren't yours, try calling at a different time of day and get someone who sounds willing to help you.  

If the debts are yours, you can't hide... just pay the damn things and quit complaining about it!

Picked up phone after one ring and when they heard my voice they hung up. Says Not_available.

I've been getting this call on my cell phone frequently for the past week. They don't leave a message. I have no outstanding medical bills, and even if I did, this wouldn't be the phone number on the bill. I've had this cell # for 12 years and and only in the past month have I been totally swamped with spam calls. Somehow someone got this number, even though I never have listed it on anything.

Uh, my mom has been getting this call during work days. But she finally answered it on the weekend and she believed them because she does have a medical bill from the hospital they mentioned. My mom unfortunately gave her last 4 digits from her SS#. I hope they can’t do anything with that. They’re trying to get you pay from your credit card. Glad I found out about this, now I’m gonna take this to the hospital to get clarified.

This number just called my land line.....hung up before I could answer.   Thanks to all of you who have been kind enough to post your comments.  I kinda wish they would call back now that I have some ammunition!

Medical collectors. Granbury Medical is already suing me for five thousand something. If I was an Illegal they would cater to me and even get me on welfare, American Government is way out of control

I had a woman from this company call our office & say that she wanted to verify the location of one of our drivers.  When I asked her where she was calling from she stated that she was the one asking the questions not me.  So I simply hung up on her.  I will not divulge any information to anyone that will not even identify themselves.

Calls from 615-465-3998 started at 4/11/2012 @ 928 AM, 4/12 @805 AM, 4/12 at 714 PM and
4/13 @829 AM. The caller leaves no messages and is identified as Unavailable. I would really like it to stop.

I too received 2 calls from this number and caller ID says Franklin, TN. I don't know the number I don't answer. They don't leave a message I don't call back. They don't leave a message I google the number to find out who it is. They soon stop calling due to no response. If I call back they consider that a response and will continue to call.
