They told me that if I didn't pay money within 2 hours, they would file charges on me and warrants would be issued in my county.  Are they a real company

They called and demanded $600.00 from me. I was freaking out. But i called my local police department and thank goodness the lady at the front desk had received the same call at home. So it was relieved and i have blocked the number for my phone

Just cause she works for the police department does not make her a saint.  I am a court reporter and did have this same problem.  It was a lesson hard learned but have not and will never do this again.  People don't falll victims to giving your personal information on the internet and please know that authorizing drafts from your account are actual checks... I did contact our family attorney and he basically told me I set myself up and it would be cheaper to pay for it and use it as a lesson learned..

u shouldnt have to pay for something u dont owe.let them call u theres nothing they can do its simply to scare u and trying t get money from u thats all..no one says that we are saying the cops a saint they r just saying the cops received the same phone call..i wouldnt ever give someone money i dont owe

She said her name was Investigator Mary Parker from the National Financial Fraud Investigation Services and  my daughter was under investigation. She had my name listed as the "mother of this individual" and if she did not call her immediately she would waive her rights to legal council and they would move forward with legal action.
