Says they are from they are from the IRS but had NO INFORMATION about me and wanted me to fill in the blanks lol. When I asked for their employee ID and name they hung up on me and of course we know the IRS wouldn't do that but instead would give that information. IRS says they NEVER do calls but would send a certified letter. I wasn't fooled by these people so please don't let them fool you and NEVER EVER give them any information on yourself the IRS already has that.

Received a call from this number.  Almost hung up since there was no response on the other end.  Held on for a few second, finally an automated voice came on stating the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and to call this number back for more info.  Totally bogus!!  Don't give info out on a number you are unfamiliar with.  Always verify with the actually company and use the number listed on their website.

Recording stating they were the IRS calling to inform me that lawsuits have been filed against me.  What a bunch of b.s. and what a bunch of [***] trying to scam people out of money.

Yes they just contacted me but there is a name on there  Y Startsev.  When I called the number back and said, why does the IRS have the name Y Startsev he hung up.  I knew it was a scam.  Plus when you call the IRS their last for digits are usually 1040.

This same so called company contact my son looking for me. After trying to get infomation regarding my case, I was being accused of tax evasion for 2009 -2014 and they had an IRS warrent for my arrest. I was asked if I knew the definition of tax evasion was and after explanning that this information was incorrect and that my taxes have been filed for all years, they later stated that the amount that I filed for was incorrect and that I owed the IRS $7812. I questioned where they were located and his contact information and was diconneceted. I called back and a person who identified herself as Kelly Green, badge #AL0482 with an mideastern accent, she tried to explain the nature of wy I was being contacted but before she did I questioned where she was located and the mailing address. She stated in a rude tune, "Don't interupt me and just listen"! I repeated my questions and she said [***] You and hung up the phone on me. LOL Clearly the IRS personal as has gone to the dogs lol.

What is the IRS doing to stop these calls and apprehend the scammers?

Yes! they left me a phone message so, I called them back and they answered as the IRS. They knew everything about me, said they sent me a letter in November and I never responded. They are calling me to be nice and let me know that action was being taken. I asked what it was for and all they would say was it pertained to my 2010 - 2012 taxes and that I filed my W2 information incorrectly. I asked why it took them 5 years to notice the problem. Said I owed them money and they didn't want a check but would take my credit card or bank information. I told him I couldn't understand a word he was saying and I knew it was a fraud call. He assured me it wasn't fraud and was just trying to help me. After arguing for 30 minutes he hung-up on me!!! I was so mad and upset I was in tears. THE A..HOLES!!! Why can't the IRS do something, the phone number is right here and they answer the phone!

Unfortunately these calls are coming from overseas and that makes it next to impossible to take any kind of action against them since they are outside our jurisdiction.

I called the number about ten minutes ago, only to find out it has been disconnected. I'm angry because I really wanted to pick a fight with these scammers.
