It's the Tennessee state government... If you have child support, food stamps or are in Any kind of family assistance program that's probably why they are calling you.

I also recieved a call with no answer. Pretty spooky!

615-743-2000 called me on my cell phone but when i said hello about 5 times they hung up i called back and there was a Tn Gov  families first recording saying they were closed ... i give my number to my children to use and maybe it was a call for them  i dont know ... but hey i dont like getting calls when the other party does not speak  And .I dont get food stamps

They called my cell phone and left a voicemail in Spanish.  I don't have any kids or government support so I don't know why they are calling.  Sounds fishy to me.

I too received a call from this number. They left a voicemail about government assistance. I do not nor want government assistance. When I called the number back they were closed.

recieved a call from this number. i didn't answer, they didn't leave a message. i am enrolled in government assistance programs, so i wouldn't be surprised if it was them. they never leave messages and they're nearly impossible to reach if you don't answer.

They have called 9 times in two days (so far). When I called back some guy named Mark answered.

And just how do you contact someone to be removed from their calling list?!!  I thought I did, but still receiving calls!!  What's even stranger.....is I've only had this cell phone for a month and a half!!!!

615-743-2000 is a recorded call calling my cell phone. 3 call today 1 @ 12.17, 2 @ 4.20 and 3@ 5.22 all in the pm on 2-24-2015. i want this to stop if possible,

It is just the TN DHS main office, usually calling to remind someone of an appointment, interview, paperwork, ect. If you have only had your number a short time and are receiving calls, they are most likely for the person who had your number last. There are two simple ways to stop the calls: 1) Answer when they call so you can talk to them or 2) Call back during their actual business hours (something like 9-5 Central Time) and ask them why they have been calling you. Most of the time, they just have not received an updated phone number for the person they are actually calling for.

This is TN Dept of Human Svc.  Left me a voicemail reminding me of my appointment for a phone interview for my grandma that was 2 weeks ago.  Odd.

Keeps calling my cell phone. I think it's a spoofed number. A lot of times scammers will spoof a number that they think you will answer for, like a local or government number.

This number called me several times on a Saturday, so I doubt it is a governmental call. Googled it and found this site. Please be careful, might be someone phishing, attempting to get personal info to rip you off. A site called donotcall.gov has a list you can put your number on to get off these lists.
