Calls, leaves no messages

Caller ID: MICHIGAN CALL.

This number called the office this morning with the same message that SallyBerry reported previously about a supposed business loan up to $250k. When the mail carrier came to drop off the mail, I gladly hung up from this robocall.

Missed call ID as ADA MI. They also called on December 14, 2018@10:38a. Same ID

I never answer this number, or any number from out of area with a weird contact name in the panel.  This one said "ADA  MI" and there would be no reason to take it seriously.  Here is what I do:  pick up and put it immediately on mute.  Within 10 seconds, it usually hangs up because the robo spam spiel doesn't kick in if it doesn't hear a live voice answering.

On my system it's easy:  pick up, mute, put it on speaker so I can monitor the silence, and put the cradle back in the handset.  Then I can go on and do other things for 10-15 seconds until the panel goes dark indicating the call has ended.  I can't hear them and they can't hear me.
