Bill collectors.......

This number keeps calling my direct work line, they have been told many times they are not allowed to call. But everyday I see that number show up on my caller ID. Now I just pick up the call and hang it up..

Who are these people???? I get calls all the time from this number and I have no clue who this number belongs to. Its very frustraiting!!!!!!

They call my home and place of business . These people are relentless !! I filed bankruptcy and have been discharged and they still call, This is in violation of Federal Law.  I called them back and they hung up on me ! Three more calls later, I spoke to Dave Barnes who is a "supervisor"  he said it will not happen again we shall see ! Call me again I dare ya !!

it's "claims" financial services - if you call the number you get a prerecorded message that doesn't identify who you are calling. It tells you "thank you for calling our offices, please wait". Then it connects to a human being that answers "hello, claims, financial services" an doesn't identify who they really are. They are located in ADA, MI where a search of the reverse phone lookup identifies the call originating from.

these people r fishing for consumer information. Do not answer the call. They will ask u ur birthday, and attempt to get ur SS #.   They are NOT from ada MI, their mainline tracks to Haiti.  They are theives looking for victims. BEWARE!!!

If that is the company you claim may be making these phone calls and if they're located in Fenton (east side of MI with 810 area code) why are they using a west side of MI area code of 616? Can't be them....and if they we're an A+ rated BBB listing they would also conduct themselves better in the customer service area, me thinks.

I get calls from this number periodically.  Really wish that if someone would like to contact me, they would leave a message.  In today's times they must realize. . . . . people don't answer when they don't know the number AND they don't call back because of the people who steal your number and make nasty calls using it and you have no idea until you get people calling and yelling at you for calling them and you haven't.  So, with that said . . . . . if a legitimate person from a legitimate company (debt collector included :-D )  - please leave messages as to what your call is regarding and perhaps you may receive return calls?  Just a suggestion.

received calls from (616)425 7675 and saw number on phone list  So glad i searched.  They received 13 calls ,hope this will be last one for me.

Unknown Number

I have a 616 number through Google Voice but haven't lived in Michigan in 10 years. I assume it's a scam when I get a call from 616 numbers, and this one was no different. I pressed call back out of curiosity when they failed to leave a message and Google Voice showed that the number I was dialing back is 678-208-9218, which is a CA number. Assuming they're spoofing area codes of the people they're spamming to increase the likelihood of something picking up. The recording that I received from that number is that the survey I was called about was now completed (uh-huh, sure, I'm sure it concluded seconds after you called me about it). Definitely a scam. For those worried, this is not a legitimate debt collector.

They are actually spoofing the numbers of legitimate businesses in the area code of the numbers they are calling because it will increase the likelihood of someone picking up when the number is local. When I dialed this number back, it dialed out to this number: 678-208-9218, which is a VoiP line.

IF this is a collection agency..... they need to not have "Robo Emily" start talking while the outgoing vm is playing so you can hear what "Robo Emily" has to say....... I did catch the end of her comment the other day on a vm that was left..... however it said something about disconnecting my account...... still no clue who you are or why you are calling me.  Real people leaving real messages helps.
