Got the call at work, no message, phone call disconnected/hung up when answered.

Someone called our office offering Website Online services as mentioned similarly by IT Guy below. The man was very rude, obnoxious and persistent. He had a thick accent and was very repetitive. Even when I told him our company already used an outsource vendor, he refused to hear it and went on and on rambling about their service. He would not hear me and ignored anything I said. He would not get off the phone even when I told him I had to go. He called again after we hung up the first time and asked for our business info even though I told him again that we were not interested. I've never experienced such a rude annoying solicitor! Be on the lookout for this caller!

A guy claiming to be called Elvis from a 'Global Communications' called me on this number  (i'm in the UK) wanting an email address so he could send me free information.  Said I wasn't interseted but he carried on.  I lay the phone on the desk and went back to work, leaving him talking to no-one. Checked a couple of minutes later and he'd hung up.  Seriously doubt he was from the company he said.  Also had an Indian accent and didn't understand english very well.

This number was found on my caller ID. When I called the number back it had an automatic fax machine answer. I live in Europe and do not have any idea who would be calling from this area code in the USA!

They calls to my mobilphone.... I think it`s a system to look up about existing phone numbers.

Can anyone get an unknown phone number? Then over here it!

Looks like their auto-dialer finally got around to my cell number (561-644-xxxx) here in the USA.  No message was left.  I'm on the DoNotCall registry but I think some call centers illegally use that info as an "Known to be Good" resource.  C'est la vie!

got strange call from this number looking for a product we do not sell. They really wanted to know names and the name of contact of another company... I got suspicions so I called them back but number went to what sounded like a FAX.

Caller from India asked the name of our Cash & Receivables manager, but did not have an invoice question or other pertinent business. Solicitation call.

man with thick indian accent called business asking for credit department and accoutns recievable - when i asked the nature of his call, he said it was in regards to our credit reports. I put him on hold and looked up the # ; wound up here.

have been getting calls from this number every couple of days, I will not answer and there is no message left.

I am in New Zealand and the man with the Indian voice called me!!!!! Trying to sell stock exchange tips, go figure. He wanted my email address, what did concern me was that he already had my home address. I said I wasn't interested and hung up. Very dodgy.

Impossible to understand English accent. Wanted to know how our company went about checking credit for new clients.  Put him on hold and he hung up. Very rude and persistant

Scam operation run from this number, block it and dont answer

Missed a call today and they hung up on voicemail  but could hear mans voice on the message before it cut out. Glad I missed the call as I'm waiting to hear job news from a US company so would have picked up...mad that the same phone number has been in operation doing this of 6 years!!

Got a call  from a lady wanting accounts receivable, I gave her the contact info she wanted to get rid of her.
An hour later a (hard to understand) man called back to go over all of the info I had given her and get more from me...hoping this doesn't bite me in the a** somehow.
