who these people

These people call constantly and never leave a message.  When you call them back, you get a message that says, "You have reached Telephone Referral Service.  If you wish to have your number removed, enter it now."

What kind of scam is this company running?

These people called us in rural east sand iego while we are under voluntary evacuation from the fires.  I was so nervouse, thinking it was a reverse 911 call alerting us to immediately evacuate.  I waited until someone got on the line and told them this, and that we were in an apartment, so ho could we possibly refinince?  I told him all of this and that someone needed to evaluate thae outbound autodialer and called his company a bunch of nymrods.  naturally, he humg up.  I couldn't get a name other than the "Financial Services department."

Called and left no message.

I'm in Canada. Got this that I won a free vacation to Mexico for four and then was asked to press a certain number on my phone.

They are still calling as of 11-23-'09
